it's probably not the same animator doing all the attacks for emperor G the first 2 attacks are reminiscent of the guy who did arios gundam in z2 he has the most distinct style in the whole animation team but it also makes it easy to discern he's not the only working on this unit as usually he's direct impacts are a bit weak so he gets left on real robot units instead i think Arios is working on the FX while another animator works on moving emperor likely the VXT animator for shin getter

Just remembered, wasn't there a new manga called Grendizer Giga released recently, granted, it had someone other than Fleed piloting it, but it still seemed like a powered up version of Grendizer. Imagine a SRW game with Mazinger Zero, Mazin Emperor G, Grendizer Giga or an upgraded Grendizer with Fleed and Mazinkaiser SKL all in the same game with a combination attack of their own...Good Lord, that sounds awesome as hell. There are also a few manga Getter Robos that never appeared in SRW, Getter Robo Dash is honestly no big loss, but Getter Robo Hien is fun and has plant monsters in it, Getter Robo Devolution has a cool Getter fighting enemies based on devolution whose boss is some entity that actually managed to hurt Getter Emperor and part of it's army are alternate brainwashed versions of Getter Robot alonside it's pilots which is really freaking cool and lastly there is the final robot of the original continuity, Getter Robo Ah or Arc which is the last robot created and intended to be much stronger than even Shin Getter, it also is the only one of Ken Ishikawa's series that didn't appear in any anime or SRW game so far so i feel like it should appear soon. Good God, Mazinger Zero, Mazin Emperor G, Stronger Grendizer, Mazinkaiser SKL and the actual strongest Getter, Getter Robo Arc, joining forces together for a Final Dynamic Special...i don't think there is a single entity that could survive such a thing.

You forgot Shin Steel Jeeg. Also, Getter Arc may never appear due to incomplete story and movesets, especially with the creator of the series been dead for a decade now. They have to seek guidance from his widow, but they rather not touch it due to the respect of the dead (don't want Ishikawa spinning to the point that it would power up the entire city of Tokyo). And even though Arc was more powerful than Shin in the Shin Getter manga, but it was also most stable to the point that it won't suffer a Getter Overcharge like Shin and Dragon (resulting in Shin Getter becoming an armada of planetary size battleships, while Shin Dragon is stuck on Earth making it a literal hell for the enemies of mankind). Hell, at the 'end' of the manga, it have to rely on Shin Dragon for help.

Something I think would be neat is a Mazinger version of the old PSX game Getter Robo Daikassen, which was basically SRW but with all Getters. I think you have enough Mazingers by now to make a game like that. Have ZERO be the final boss, who then joins you to fight the for-realsies super duper secret final bonus boss.

Really? I never saw or read the manga where the unit was from. I was fine with it, since the phrase 'you will become a god or a demon' (although this was only applied/said to Mazinger Z) fits so well if you combine the game with the manga (that Great Mazinger will become either a god (Mazin Emperor G) or a devil/demon (Great Mazinkaiser) (Yes, I know that Great Mazinkaiser isn't evil based on what I've heard from others).

Don't get me wrong, I'm more than happy with what we got. The overall improvements to animations and translation Full-body portraits The return of Crossbone, ZZ and Tetsuya Jerid being a good guy finally Having the balls to have Char be dead for real despite both Zeta and CCA being on the roster And a pseudo-season 2 for Shin Mazinger I didn't mean to sound unpleasable, but after BX having the Z-SKL combination, it just got me super hyped for the possibility. But you're right, we should look at what we got and not what could've been, and what we got was an improvement.

The english version is great, sure it isn't without it's typo however the overall translation quality has improved significantly. As for the Japanese premium version, I don't see the point when custom BGM is in the game.

The mech's animation was honestly dissapointing, it did not live up to the previoues games really :/ Though some of the good points here is THE EFFECTS HERE ARE GORGEOUS, with those winds, smoke, flashes, explosionssss. Another great thing to add is the very dynamic camera usage, really levels up the aesthetic.

OK I'll come clean...I have only played ONE super robot wars game which was SRT K for the ds(easy but fun as hell) so my points may as well be moot. BUT I remember watching various scenes from SRW Tengoku Hen and Jigoku Hen and it was GODLIKE. The diffrence I could spot between this game and the two I mentioned earlier are the mechs are animated through pixel art(its a dying art) meanwhile this was like one illustration of a mech being rigged. Well, with that outta the way...I doubt my other points regarding the other aspects of this scene was moot. In fact I'll stand by it until I die. lel
