Maybe the whole opening as a whole is not as good quality as something like the opening of Alpha 3 but man that final shot is really awesome.

I really hope someone translates this game completely, there is no other game that has Gunbuster, Diebuster, Evangelion, Gurren Lagann, Turn A Gundam, Endless Waltz, Unicorn, Shin Mazinger, Getter Armageddon, Big O and Code Geass in the same place.

itsacharcoalice I had been wondering if Banpresto really out of budget because Bandai Namco didn't give enough to make it awesome. (Where are the Unicorn Phenex, 00 Quanta Full Saber, Hi-Nu, Nightingale, Gainax Kick and new Final Dynamic Special?) Really, if the reason is IDOLM@STER then I'm pissed. Soul Caliber, Ridge Racer, then SRW...

Hei Man Lee Just think about how much this series costs to produce, it even has to be SD for some reason. I dunno if an annual series like SRW, even backed by the copyright holders could really consistently bring out their top game every time.

itsacharcoalice has a point. The budget for these games has to be divided throughout oh so many áreas; animation, voice acting, licenses... Some times a certain área is favored, others all áreas get the same amount of fine tuning. It doesn't help that Bandai Namco has to publish/produce other games, so there is also that to consider. But the SD isn't one of the reasons for the budget costs; games such as NEO prove that Banpresto doesn't always go for 2D animation, the SD is there because it's part of the SRW series' identity. And Z3 is less SD than other SRW games at that, as the style of animation has become more realistic....

Hei Man Lee This is supposedly what killed off the possibility(and there -was- one) of SRW-W(Nintendo DS - 2007) being released, stateside; with the exception of GaoGaiGar Final, every other series had apparently already been licensed in the U.S., and there was no other reasonable explanation for GoLion's appearance(the timing could NOT have been a coincidence) except that the game was being floated for a U.S. release...; essentially, the sheer cost of all the licenses combined scared off any potential company(Atlus USA had 1st shot, I think) from releasing it, reportedly, with Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz being the most expensive by a significant margin....
