Damn... R1 is so old.. im a middle age man and i remember the first time i played SRW Neo in PS1 when i was a highscool boy In the 90s. R1 was in that game... It feels like yesterday..

years have passed and i still think that ryusei is the best OG protagonist (and the true main of OG and Alpha) and R-1 best real robot imo

msexiar2 I prefer OG Ryusei to the Alpha one, since the OG version is a lot more humble than his Alpha self, though we have Tenzan Nakajima to thank for that, since he acted so much like Alpha Ryusei that if OG Ryusei ever met him somehow (and it's possible what with all the dimension traveling going on in this series as a whole), he would punch his Alpha self in the face before telling him about Tenzan and how he died, twice.

My mistake. It turns out the real original version of Ryusei was from Shin Super Robot Wars. Alpha Ryusei actually acted more like OG Ryusei. Still, both the Alpha and OG versions of Ryusei would be disgusted in the attitude of the one from Shin Super Robot Wars.

​@@krex44 It's a matter of preference so all that ">>>" is true to those who prefer Kyosuke, I guess. Personally I prefer the nerdy mecha fanboy who eventually grew to the point he can manly duel Master Asia and Domon on equal footing than the guy who started out already mature and manly then remain the same for almost the entire story. Furthermore ATX team story more or less peaked at the Einst conflict, and they more or less show up as the mentor veteran now. Ryusei and SRX team meanwhile still has the Balmar full conflict as well as Banpreios to look forward to, especially after 2nd OGs tightening OGSaga world to the Alpha setting.

I swear if R-1 Custom appear in the next OG coming soon. Unless, R-1 Custom needs to find a way to unlock the docking system since R-1 Custom having a lacks a Uranus System and lacks of combination mechanisms of SRX

The might throw it in the mix before they bring Banpreios in place of R-Blade Custom ( like it was in alpha 3) since Rblade is already in the previous games. Then again, I hope they show the R series for the Banpreios, we never got to see them in Alpha 3 but you can see parts of new machines on it like the tracks on its shoulders, so maybe they will add them this time.

I've heard ryusei's theme so much it's annoying, mostly because people use it with SRX instead of Super Robot Spirits like they're supposed to.
