the zankanto blade vs the cursed shield but it was a draw. it broke the blade but giganscudo was heavily damaged in OG1

Technically Sanger wasn’t putting his truth strength there. In contrast in Original Generation 2, Wodan, who has no connection with the heroes, hit Guganscudo with a full force zankantou and wounded Tasuku badly.

Is it me or does Sanger seem much more cocky than he is in the older games? Calling his enemies small fries when he hasn't even begun attacking.

He still does in 2nd OG and before. He mostly is ruthless that Soulless enemies like Yokijin or Lamarice. He rarely insults intelligents beings like Inspectors or Guests. Or he will insult them, but not based on their powers, but on what they're doing. His character is pretty consistent.
