Did I feel goosebumps when Gunbuster joined the party and I got to hear this theme again? Yes. Did I shed manly tears when I finally had access to Super Inazuma Kick? Fuck yes. Did Noriko become the only pilot with over 300 kills by the end of the game? HELL YES! This unit is a game changer. INVEST IN GUNBUSTER AND YOU WON'T EVER DIE!!!

I finished the game a week ago and I feel the same, except I watched Gunbuster in the middle of my T playthrough. I originally played the game for G Gundam, thus Domon was my top ace for a while. And then I basked in the glory of Gunbuster. Instantly after watching, I invested all funds and tac points I had in upgrading the Gunbuster and giving Noriko all sorts of abilities. And by just two stages that she soloed effortlessly due to all the upgrades I gave her and Gunbuster, Noriko had very quickly surpassed Domon as my top ace and she remained so until the very end. I was able to properly enjoy the stage where Super Inazuma Kick was unlocked because I had watched Gunbuster beforehand. Plus, she was even the one who killed the final boss. I second the motion of investing in Gunbuster.
