As much as I've seen daitran 3 I've never really heard his story or anything like that.

That's mostly because it was following the really surprising and subversive ending of Zambot 3. Daitarn 3 was just kind of a return to form from the genre. It's not "bad" but after the downer ending of Zambot, it just kind of falls flat.

Yeah, It's not BAD. It's just kind of disappointing when compared to it's predecessor and kind of generic when compared to its contemporaries. It's not licensed, so you're on your own finding it, but eh, knock yourself out.

I usually don't care much for why Daitarn 3 and Banjou are around since they're always an imposing presence in battle, but this comparison between him and Maito keeps convincing me that Mightgaine's debut was a good excuse to let Trider G7 sit this one out. Not to say I dislike his bubbly demeanor in cutscenes of course.
