The 5th angel has AT field and 16000HP. Mazinger Zero blows it off at one friggin single blow with 19000-ish damage. Ingenious.

That's part of the original TV series. They mixed that part into the Rebuild.

just gonna ask guys. is this SRW also connected to OG? i mean it would be cool of it was but just wishful thinking. i mean imagine the ATX team mistaking the EVAs as another valsion series of mechs huh. oh Ryusei would have a field day with the mazingers series, maybe if Voltes-V is there, or even Daimos, heck he will cum all over the place just seeing the original gundams like wing and any gundam anyway

It sort of happened - the SRX team's first SRW appearance was actually Shin Super Robot Wars (aka the one with non-SD machines and is not considered one of the better ones), but came into their own in SRW Alpha.

This is probably the first time I saw SRW portrayed Gendo that way. Usually he kills himself taking out SEELE or a boss fight.

Unfortunetely, they didn't give us AAA Wunder, or we will have three badass battleships at the same time -- Yamato, Nadesico, and AAA Wunder, which all of them have shields and dangerous weapons

To unlock this stage, there should be a stage prior to this one where many Angels appear. Have Shinji defeat them all.

I actually looked it up after asking. Shinji has to complete 2 of 3 conditions in the previous chapter. 1. Destroy 9th Angel 2. Destroy 10th Angel 3. Be an Ace Pilot I'm assuming that 3rd one is for anyone who beat the game already and missed the stage and wants to get it on a new game +. If I'm not mistaken, it takes a lot of kills for a unit to get their ace bonus.

At that rate, one may as well stick with Unit-13. I assume it's the only one where you get an extra Spirit Pool with Kaworu as Sub-Pilot for that matter, right?
