Ironically, the G-Self doesn't *really* have any. The sabers, Photon Torpedoes and final attack always show the enemy being torn to separate pieces/getting holes blown in them, only to show up whole a moment later. It even does the freeze frame ending every time!

Listen: For the last time, DK does not mean the death animation will not be played. Some DKs, such as F91's MEPE Attack DK, still plays that death animation for whatever reason even if you get a kill with the attack yet has unique animation only shown when you kill someone with it. Don't ask me why they have such quirks. Weird choices all round. Seriously though G Self really is one of the better animated robot in the entire game

@@TeamTowers1 It could do so if it fought nonestop for weeks, if I recall correctly. It doesn't even account for any margin of error or pilot fatigue nor the ELS's ability to resupply their numbers, making it a pretty spotty point of refference to weight the Quanta's power. That said, comparing their abilities in the SRW games, the Quanta does look more powerful. I think Perfect G-self is closer to Harute's level.

2:22 that end pose is so cringe, it's like a baby trying to reach a candy. They could have had G-Self imitate the original RX-78 pose. Way to look like a parody of RX-78 rather than a successor, what a joke.

It was meant to be like the ending sequences of the anime where the characters are all reaching out their hands in ridiculous poses like that. So yes, looking like that is the entire point. Frankly, I like it. In fact, why should the G-Self imitate RX-78 when the Hi-Nu or Nu could do it anyway?

Disagree. This pose adds a colorful and whimsical side to the G-Self that makes it have more personality than the rest of the Gundams. Besides the BD covers of GReco have all the mechs in various fun poses. And iirc, those were choreographed from dance moves by none other than Tomino's own daughter. So yeah no thank you to your suggestion.

​@@RadiantEdge027 And I do not care for its origin, it's still cringe to me. Making a whimsical themed gundam series, whilst still persisting its war and strife trope sounds too hypocritical to me. You want a lighthearted, and over-the-top gundam series to go with SRWX? G Gundam or Turn A could have worked, not this pretentious series that barely even made a mark on the franchise.
