Pretty much yeah. Saiyans gets stronger when they experience a near death so since he's a half saiyan he gained stronger and we even saw the androids confused when we saw his power unleashed so yeah Gohans the goat

@@ChaotixHiro Gohan did go toe-to-toe with Goku in God Blue. Even if Goku was holding back, Gohan forced him to use Kio-Ken. I don't even think that was Gohan's full power. After all Vegeta did say that Gohan had the potential to surpass them both. I hope they do Gohan some justice and make him the main character of the new Dragon Ball Super : Superhero movie.

This DLC gave future Gohan the redemption he deserved. The movie just shows him effortlessly getting slaughtered, whereas this scene shows him putting up a fight until his last breath, even somehow mustering up one final kamehameha when he had no energy whatsoever. Shows that he is a true warrior that would do anything protect those he cares about just like his dad (and by that I mean Goku not piccolo lol).

Gohan training for years, being Super Sayen, getting badly beaten up several times (near death sayen boost), and still, androids at half power just humiliating him .... Took only one year of training to the characters in the normal timeline to surpass them .... Sadly some point in DB story don't really make sense ... Also Androids rampaging on earth for something like 18 years, and nobody in the other world just thought "yeah, just go back for one day with our newly acquired power for all of these training in the afterlife to kick these metal asses" or Kaios or anybody else to save this planet ... Cause everybody knows how afterlife works in Dragon Ball, but in Trunks history, it is just like "meh, it wipes all the drama of the situation, so let's pretend everybody is just definitely dead" . Still it is very cool, love this franchise since childhood . The cutscenes in this game are so over the top .

after revisiting the future trunks ark, now revisit how trunks felt seeing Gohan when he traveled to the past. it didn't go too deep, but those were powerful moments. that and training with his father!
