I do the sheets every Sunday . Sunday is my reset day so I try to get bedding washed , dusting, vacuum done and bathroom clean . Since I work 40 plus hours it’s so much better to start the week with the main chores done and the it’s just maintenance throughout the week. Ps our pit bull Sleeps with us so weekly sheet washing is a must for the puppy hair 😅

Our dryer was just doing that exact thing. Slight burnt smell and taking longer. We pulled the hose off of the back and it was quite full. Idk if you've checked that but it helped ours a ton and it's back to being like new!

I am married with a five-year-old…I honestly clean our sheets when it becomes necessary…for example, if the sheets start smelling, we spill something on them, someone gets sick etc…on average I change them twice a month but this obviously changes due to the individual circumstances of my household…I personally really love having general guidelines for everything, but I also think part of being an adult is knowing that guidelines are not rules chiseled into stone…everyone’s family is different…like you pointed out earlier, asthma is a big problem in your house so you need to dust more often than the average family 🤷🏻♀️

Now I really want to clean out our closet. It's been a while!😄 I wash all our bedding every 2-3 weeks, depending on how busy my weekends get and how much other laundry has accumulated by the weekend. I don't blame you for keeping that dryer. We have had our Maytag set for almost 25 years. They both run great, but we bought a new washer only because I wanted a deeper one. That was a mistake! It didn't have an agitator, which I hated because our clothes never seemed to get evenly washed, and the computer board went out twice within 9 months. Luckily, we still had our old one in the garage, hooked it back up and it ran like a charm. I will never complain about the smaller compartment again.😄 By the way, I always love when you play the waterslide song! It's so fun and reminds me of summer cleaning.😃
