Shin Sonic, Knuckles, and Player face off against Robotnik's terrifying new creation: Shin Metal Sonic. Despite GUN soldiers mistakenly targeting Shin Sonic, believing him to be the enemy, Sonic risks his life to protect his friends and even save the soldiers. The battle rages on as Tails and Player infiltrate Robotnik's base to find a way to stop Shin Metal Sonic. After a thrilling encounter with Metal Tails and a race against time, the duo returns just as Shin Sonic executes a daring plan, ultimately using one of Shin Metal Sonic's own missiles to destroy him. Though still in his monstrous form, Sonic's heroic actions prove he’s the same old friend, and the team reunites in a heartwarming moment.
