Sweet, I never had never known about the chest and block breaking glitch, I'd been using the nether portal glitch for a long time to save having to farm loads of gear. On my xbox series x 5 blocks seams to be the sweet spot for duping. Thanks for this James.

For anyone doing this glitch there is a high chance your stuff will be deleted as well as respawn world generation however, if so just close the world. (do not save and quit)just make another copy and everything in you inventory should be saved.

I watch your videos quite often and always appreciate the info. I use a barrel for this glitch and it works fine. I also use a 5 to 8 second count instead of breaking blocks after loading and closing the barrel. The time counts actually change when you 1st start the console, so you may need to attempt the dupe several times to find the delay counts for that session. I've been using this dupe for years.

I back up my game on a memory stick before each dupe attempt. I can simply reload the save if something goes wrong. (Such as all of the items have disappeared). This duplication does not work every time. It is still faster than manually collecting the quantities of items you are going to get from this method. After filling the chest or barrel with items and closing, instead of breaking blocks, count for five seconds before kicking out of the game. Then restart. If five seconds does not work, reset the dupe and try six seconds next time, repeating adding another second if it still has not worked. I've noticed the counts will vary whenever turning of my console completely and restarting the console later the same day or another day. You just need to experiment.@@ozzysgang7193

@@magniteproductions3767 Back up your game on a memory stick before attempting. It does not always work on the first try and sometimes you may lose all of the materials you are trying to dupe. You can reload the backed up game files if this happens. Load the barrel, wait for the barrel to close, then count between 5 to 8 seconds, then kick out of the game to the main screen without saving, then restart the game. If it does not work, set everything up again and try a different count. I have had times that it would take 7 or 8 attempts before the dupe works, but that is better than trying to collect that amount of materials manually.👍

I got it to work a couple times thanks. Ya I make backups. I have an odd thing that happens sometimes where when I load back into my world, I'll end up far from my base with no loot and just a map lol.

coming in clutch, nice. I was hyperventilating when they patched the portal one as it was my favorite (and safest). I know there are quite a few other item dupe glitches out there, maybe it's a good time to test and see which ones still work? I know the one where you eat a consumable and switch rapidly to duplicate was also patched, at least based on my tests.

I'm surprised this works. I used to do it on PS4 like 2 or 3 years ago. ALWAYS MAKE A BACK UP SAVE! Sometimes (often) this glitch will totally delete your items. It's iffy but does work once you get the hang of it.

Thanks for trying it out and confirming the portal dupe was patched James! And sometimes I feel laggy then I go into Video settings and somehow, all by itself the chunk render distance slider thing is at Max! Even though I always keep it at 24 chunks, weird.

I was playing around with tnt in tnt mod. And it glitched a little bit and made unexploded. Tnt when I removed the mod they didn't disappear So I think they might have been normal tnt

For anyone on Xbox, don’t quit the game, after breaking the last block just go to the Home Screen and hit quit on Minecraft. I’ve done this around 4 times and it works. It is about the timing so be aware

Get it right and it works. -put a chest in front of you, than leave the world. -load back in and place items in chest. -break 8 block from under you and out, once the last block is broken, immediately hit the home menu as soon as you hit the Xbox logo to pop up that menu. -quit Fortnite (not leave) and load back in. It will take the right timing to get it, but it does work.

Glitches do not work on Minecraft, PE or console. The game auto saves whether you close out or leave. You cannot close the application without it saving. Just going to save you some time

That Portal Chest Method Was already got Toast by the Patch, so it doesn't work anymore, tho. It can be served as item deleter chest if you want 😹😂 for the block timer one i still haven't tried it yet so i dunno.. Also dunno if it's work on realm too.. :v

Edit: yep, it only works for the normal world, in the realm u can't cuz it's already auto-save for like every second.. Tho. I can bypass it with download the realm world n it become copy in the form of normal world (outside of realm) n then dupe it there, then you replace the former realm world with the duped it world OwO👌 tho. If you played with teams or friends you tell yur friends to put all their item on hand in chest first as a backup before you do the glitch, n nobody allowed to online before you finished the dupe.. So their item on hand doesn't *Poof* n gone.. 😹👌

Pin me Almighty James 🙏 jk but anyways if anyone is playing on Xbox or the next time you upload this glitch, Make sure to make a backup copy before doing this glitch, this one on Xbox series X corrupts a lot during the glitch and can and has deleted items from me several times Once you have made the backup of your world do as he said with the chest, stand infront of it and save you position (you can have a copy of your world ready in this position) Place all items you want to dupe in the chest, works best with shoulder boxes, stacked items seem to glitch out more and disappear. Break 5 dirt blocks with your fist only and as soon as the 5th one breaks quit application and wait 5 seconds on the dashboard. This gives time to sync the cloud save properly Once back in game wait for your skin to appear fully loaded in and you should have successfully duplicated on Xbox! Again make a copy of that copy now, delete the old one and rename new save. It’s much more tedious than the nether portal glitch but still there if you need. I definitely recommend the end duplication as it is more reliable and less time consuming. Happy Duping! Stay Frosty Jam Fam 👊🎉

Another update! Created a new world to try it out and it doesn’t seem to work within 100 blocks of the world spawn point. Or I just suck and can’t do it on that world but I’ve tried so many times. Interesting detail but one to point out.

If other players are online no. The glitch works by the game forgetting that the items had been moved, so if other players are in the game, it will still remember where the items are

From what I know, there's only 1 in a world. There's no getting the egg back since you can't respawn the ender dragon without it. You could do creative, but then you can't earn trophies anymore. That's your call, but nothing else you can do besides that, unfortunately.

Sorry bud, there’s no getting that egg back. Only 1 dragon egg per world generation. Did you make any copies of your world? Even if you lose a few days, even a month’s worth of progress, it’s worth it to get that egg back. I make a copy of my survival world every single time I log out, then delete older copies, keeping only the 3-4 most recent copies. I say that because Bedrock/Xbox also has an issue of randomly corrupting files, issuing a message of “there’s no more space to save data for this game or app”, even if if you have 100 gigs of free space. When this happens, it will stop saving any progress made in your world, and the only way I’ve found to fix it is to reset the console to factory settings. Sometimes the main world save gets corrupted, sometimes it’s retrievable, but the copies of the world are still good. Always always always make copies of your world. Best advice I can give on that.

Sadly no, but you could technically do it. Make a copy of your realm world, which gets added to your private worlds, make a copy of that copy just in case you mess up, then do the glitch, once you’re satisfied take the duped world and use that as a realm. (Also, I recommend taking everything in your inventory and putting it in a chest, armour included)

The dupe where you break blocks perfect for ps5, snacking on Gapples as i duplicate everything in the game. If you’re stuff disappeared or your shit gets corrupted then thats YOUR FAULT for not BACKING UP YOUR WORLD. Stop blaming him for your failures. For ps5 i do exactly as he does but i break 8 blocks. Works almost always and I back up my world everytime i grab the stuff. You know, LIKE HE SAID MULTIPLE TIMES IN THE VIDEO. If you’re having problems keep trying different blocks and timings LIKE HE SAID IN THE VIDEO, before trying to come at him saying its fake. You guys that comment how you failed but put the blame on him, makes him unmotivated to make videos like this for his viewers that ACTUALLY listen and pay attention. Dont ruin something for everyone just because its not working for you.
