Magnetic dish!! What a good simple idea! So simple that I’d never thought of it in over 50 years of working on cars, the house, mowers, fishing reels, appliances etc. Just ordered one.

I have the same Branson 3520h tractor and also have the grapple attachment. My valve for the opening and closing of the grapples is mounted to the cross beam on the loader, it is out of the way and puts the quick disconnects right there in an easy to get to location. I love my Branson too, best 35hp tractors, heaviest tractor on the market for that size tractor...

Nice video. Wondered how third function installed. I’m surprised the setup does not fit in tighter. I figured incorrectly that the third function would simply involve adding a line to the factory controller. Had no idea it required a whole new controller.

Get you some good quality electrical tape of difference colors to mark your hyd. lines quick conects. Match them up to make hook up quicker for each attachment.
@darrellfranks7215 Жыл бұрын
So you've had that setup on your tractor for a while now. Have you had any trouble with all those hydraulic lines / fittings sticking out right behind the front tire? I've bent both of the steps on my Branson tractor from running into stumps or trees, and I'm pretty sure I'd have ripped those hydraulic lines off in short order. But great job of hooking up your third-function. I'm researching for adding a front-mount brush hog.

If you need a hack for the bracket on your tractor so you don't have to weld it, take some rubber and put it in between the bracket and hose or go the the dollar store and get a pool noodle and cut to fit. Just a couple back yard hacks we do, hopefully this helps.

So what you have is a diverter valve. Could you not have plumbed it into the main line and just use the buttons to control that function? You have to use the lever and press the button as opposed to just pressing the button.

Merry Christmas from South Florida. Good job getting everything connected and working. I agree with you on that bracket. I fear it will damage the two pipes it is holding on to. When you swung the plow to and fro, it seemed to yank on that bracket - yikes! Also, the hydraulic lines on the side are screaming for a branch/stump to catch a hose. I wonder if you could make a screen mesh or something. Maybe Mike @ Laid Back Living could help fabricate something for you. Cheers

the "eyeball engineer" in me doesn't like where the diverter is placed. It looks too vulnerable to having damage from driving by a tree that wouldn't have bothered anything before the diverter was installed. And, PLEASE, travel with the loader as low as practical. The higher it is, the more likely you are to roll the tractor.
@arvidsrensen32504 жыл бұрын

That wobbly bracket would definitely be a problem for my 4815 Ch with grapple. Working in land clearing would cause that bracket to bend or break the hydraulic lines that control the loader functions if they caught on a vine/branch or other debris while I am "in the woods". I ordered my tractor with the 3frd fcn valve and either the distribution center or the dealer set mine up and it seems to be well placed without a wobbly bracket. My 3rd fcn valve is mounted on the front of the loader. While I have worried about it being susceptible to damage, I watch what is going on and so far that has not been an issue. Mine is close to the loader frame and there's not much sticking out to get caught on things... except the hoses. Hope this info helps anyone interested in adding one or considering buying a tractor with it installed. Thanks for posting the video...
