My opinion is that those blues backing tracks. Slow and melodic are so perfect for studying a scale while not getting bored. I would say it's the perfect exercise for scale learning and improving upon ones melodic patterns and improvisation. Amazing job brother! keep it up!

Hey Sam! I talk about this in several of my solo breakdown vids on Patreon, but here I'm basically plugged straight into the Axe FX2 xl+ - using a Friedman amp sim (I use that a LOT). Just a bit of drive and reverb!
