Imagine if the Smash games have arcade versions

There is something so magical in seeing a decade old game thay was meant for a console to run, being plwyed in a genuine arcade!

Friendly advice: it’s dangerous to make cross cuts with the fence, it makes it really likely the material will bind and kick back. Use the miter gauge or make a cross cut sled.

Way to go!! Beat me to it! I'm right behind ya. Working on one myself for Ultimate on the Switch w/ analog control & tilt sticks (are those analog or 8-way?). It may be a while before I make it as pretty yours due to financial strain but someday it'll get there. I do hope to get out there to play that on that one some day soon assuming it's still up & running (I live all the way in MI). It's both amazing and an honor seeing another enthusiast. Here's to a New Year of Smash Bros. Arcade, cheers! 🎊🕹️💥🏆

I bought both 8-way and analog. Decided to use the analogs to utilize all tilt/tap functions of the N64. Thanks for th.e kind words! 🙏

@@gozer5454 Beautiful! Would it be to much to ask which analog sticks they are? I may end up replacing mine. And of course, I mean, you got the player colors right even.

@@gamesonastick had to look up my notes. I used ultimarc 360 ball top joysticks. Plugged them in via usb. A lot more pain in the arse to setup but it was the ONLY way to get tilt/tap to work right. If I used my other joysticks i ordered which were corresponding color LED lit, then the characters would have been dashing during all movements.

I actually saw a custom Super Smash Bros Brawl arcade cabinet on a arcade, and i got to play with it, it was kind of weird since it worked in a weird way, after you used the "credits" card from the arcade it boot you straight into the Character selection screen, you couldn't modify combat rules so it was a 2 minute combat by default and after the combat was finished the controls became unresponsive unless you swapped the card again
@gozer54542 жыл бұрын
Same principle here. You are renting time. So, if the buttons on this machine stopped working, you would have to add credits to continue playing.

@@gozer5454 interesting been wondering how that is set up since i plan to make one custom smash cabinet too, btw you know if the same method can be applied to other games?
@gozer54542 жыл бұрын
@@vard1865 yes. You can put a timer module on any game that gives you time per credit.

@@gozer5454 Yea, been playing it for 2 weeks now because, mainly my other friend is hosting the world, so I basically will have to wait for him to be able to play most of the time

The art you get from demon graphics is not supposed to use. Heat win applying. The first time I apply heat to game on graphics cards and ended up bubbling and working afterwards the next time clear product. The next few times after that when I use no heat all of the graphics, we’re fine with no bubbling wrinkling or warping.

I’m thinking of doing something like this but on a pedestal so I can wheel it out of the room when my kids are playing. What is running the emulator? Just a mini pc?
@gozer545412 күн бұрын
Just a basic PC with a strong enough graphics card to render n64 graphics. Those type of graphics get a little funny for lowest end mini pc.
