Japanese and French use the same grunt noises, which is interesting. So only the Final Smashes and Victory Quotes use their respective dubs. Cool things of note: 1. DDD and the Pokémon trio translate in other languages, whereas most normal words like Captain Falcon stay the same. All the Pokémon have capitalized letters in other languages too. 2. Spanish Ike is pronounced “eeck-ay,” and they don’t say “¡Final!” when a match ends. The text for game modes is also moved up a bit. 3. Japanese uses the English announcer with different terminology. 4. Korean uses Hangul when selecting a character and on results screen, and their announcer says some English (321GO, Home-Run Contest). 5. 21:31 Japanese Snake explosion sound is different. 6. 7:46 is pretty neat if you’ve never heard it before (and Falco/Wolf).
@mep63025 жыл бұрын
The reason Ike is pronounced differently in Spanish is because the announcer pronounced it as it's written (according to IPA and Spanish pronunciation)

The reason why Choi Han did Korean announcing for Brawl instead of the original announcer is because there was no way Nintendo of Korea could contact Pat Cashman. At least Smash 4 had the standard announcer do Korean announcing even if it's just based on the Japanese version.
@GardevoirBoy4 жыл бұрын
Personally, I would have preferred Pat Cashman for not just Japanese and English versions of Brawl, but also the Korean one as well. Choi Han isn't a bad announcer, he's just not the one suited to announce Brawl in the Korean language. I appreciate the effort Choi Han did for Brawl in Korea, but it was better to have the standard announcer be also the Korean announcer like Xander Mobus was as of Smash 4.
