The easiest character with this event on hard difficulty is actually Ness. You can do lots of PK thunders, first KO’s Giant Mario first, then do the same thing to the other two characters. This took me two tries before completing this event.

Hold L + R & Select And press Ready to fight and you should be able to play as zero suit samus
