Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (Classic Mode 9.9 Intensity No Continues | Kazuya Mishima)

Kazuya Mishima from the Tekken series is now a playable character in Smash. For his Classic Mode, I would probably say it's equivalent to an Arcade Mode in most fighting games, where you're just going through opponents to fight your ultimate rival towards the end. We'll fight some fighting game themed characters like Ryu, Falcon, DK, and others in a Stamina Mode battle while some are traditional Smash battles. At least we don't fight Master & Crazy Hand again for this Classic Mode.

I think there are the references: Ryu as heihachi or in street fighter x tekken ryu is kazuya's rival in arcade mode captain falcon as paul little mac as steve fox DK and Kink as Kuma and Panda Lucario as Jin Kazama the mii like the jacks ( 7 mii = 7 Jacks = Tekken 1-7) and the end as a reference to tekken 2 where the final boss is normal kazuya and the second raund against devil kazuya ;)

If this Classic Mode route is played with two players, CPUs will have 150 HP instead of 100. In Round 4, Donkey Kong and King K. Rool will have 100 HP instead of 70 HP.

Round 1 references Street Fighter X Tekken, which was originally developed for PlayStation 3. Round 2 references the Captain Falcon costume in the Wii U version of Tekken Tag Tournament 2. Round 3 possibly references that Tekken featured some boxers. Round 4 references Tekken’s use of animal characters such as Kuma, a bear trained by Heihachi. Round 5 references Pokkén Tournament, which was originally developed for Wii U and later ported to Nintendo Switch. Round 6 references the soldiers of G Corporation, a biogenetic company responsible for resurrecting Kazuya in Tekken 4. The Final Round references the final battle of Tekken 7’s story mode, where Heihachi fights Kazuya normally before taking on his devil form in a volcanic area.

If it had to be another Namco character, I'm kind of hoping for Lloyd from Tales of Symphonia for the following reasons: 1. He's the most highly requested character in Japan as of now. 2. Symphonia was one of the most significant timed exclusive GameCube games.

@@protoluigi2047 while that be the case, we don’t have a full idea about how the decision works in regards with the Mii Costume DLC. Majority I noticed that were DLC back in Smash 4 and returned to base game of Ultimate are mostly been based on Nintendo’s characters. While the rest that came back as DLCs once more have been Third Party. Sakurai did addresses he needed approval from Third Party companies about their content, and is very likely Mii Costumes where decided by said Third Companies as they too would get profit out of it. For Lloyd’s case, it be scummy if he be a DLC costume at the same time end up a fighter after.

Kazuya made his debut in the original Tekken in December 1994. I was in my freshman year of high school at the time. The franchise name Tekken means “iron fist” in Japanese. His Classic Mode route is themed after this fact.

And I say that because I wasn’t lucky enough to have played and gotten used to Street Fighter, King of Fighters, and Tekken beforehand, much less other RPG franchises. And with the exceptions of Steve and Byleth especially, the routes themselves are okay. But considering how much we’re all used to percentage in Smash instead of stamina, we expect these routes to be equally as fair.
