Super Smash Brothers Ultimate DLC Predictions

Today I wanted to go over some of the potential DLC picks for Smash Ultimate and who I think will be making it into the roster as DLC.

I think that considering the Rabbits are the mascot of ubisoft now, they would have a preference over Rayman (then again, there may not be an ubisoft rep at all, whcih is what I think will happen). Also, I find it extremely weird that Bandana Dee is not an assit trophy mostly because he is one of the most relevants characters in the Kirby series, I would say that he even surpass Meta Knight in relevance now, so I would say that, unless he was going to be a playable character or will be a DLC fighter, he would have been al least an assist trophy but he is not. So I would say he probably gets in the game as one of the DLC. Also, regarding the MH representation I think that out of all the possible reps you could introduce, I think the hunter would be the worst option, mostly because it is so much of a customizable avatar that it lacks even the minimun individualization. Like, what would he/she look like? What weapon would he/she use? It isn't like with Robin, Mario or Link because they have more or less determined/cannony weapons, it is even worse than the case with the Pokémon Trainer because he/she doesn't even have a cannon appearance. I think the hunter works extremely well as a mii costume due to that, actually. After all, if the mii costume changes the cannon for a crossbow or a bow, it would even work with the mii gunner and not only the swordfighter. So I think that, for the MH rep, if there is one, which I doubt, a monster would have more chance of getting in but it must be a monster which is small enough that it either doesn't need to be rescaled or that if it is rescaled to Bowser/Ridley size it wouldn't feel forced, I think the Quirin and the Jaggi/Great Jaggi would be good candidates for being fighters in smash. Of course, another option would be the feline but I feel that would be less unique which isn't the usual style of Sakurai.

Ditidos turns out Bandana Dee is one of the “evolved spirits” which another transforms into so he’s been found now :/ upsetting times

@@Hobhunks What? How could that work? If he is a spirit he's definetly not one of the evolved ones. It simply doesn't make sense.

Ditidos it’s been found in the data, regular waddle Dee turns into him, hopefully spirits don’t deconfirm but we shall have to see

When you said that we might get a generation 8 pokemon or any main character from Fire Emblem Three Houses, don't forget that what if Sakurai put a new character from Metroid Prime 4?

You know what, fair enough, but there's still a chance MP4 wont be out next year so they might not even need to promote it. I also see FE needing the promotion more since it ain't as big as metroid. Thanks for watchin btw, hope you enjoyed the video :)

@@Hobhunks Well Sakurai did say it'll take a year for all DLCs to come. So he's probably saving a character from a future game as the last DLC. And who knows, what if Sakurai wants to promote Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee since it came out, and he made Melmetal a DLC.

I just wonder that if we get another Final Fantasy character in Smash, I'm betting on Noctis from Final Fantasy 15. It's that latest games could have higher chances. Plus Noctis is pretty popular when his game sold 8 million copies and he appeared in many non-Final Fantasy games.

Only thing with Noctis is that he's already been put into Tekken (I think?) so idk if they'd have him in both

@@Hobhunks I mean, Mega Man appeared in Marvel vs. Capcom/Marvel vs. Capcom & Street Fighter X Tekken but he appeared in Smash Bros. I just thought Noctis will be the same.

(sigh) It just makes no sense if Nintendo picked anyone from Xenoblade Chronicle 2 when the Fighter's Pass already has content from the game.

It just feels like if Sakurai really wanted them in and it'd promote another nintendo franchise it'd be logical, sorta 2 birds 1 stone sorta deal. Thanks for watching btw :)

Ikr whose yet if they just put only a mii costume I think it could have worked, but no they even put three tracks from the game as well. That's the one detriment a lot seem to sleep on.

Ok this is why sakuria putting piranha plant in is the the dumbest/worst idea ever. Because it gets idiots to think that any useles dumb thing can be a character. How the fuck would slime work? He has no limbs. Atleast piranha plant, wii fit trainer, and rob had limbs or limb like arms to punch. Hell lets just add an nike shoe and tennis ball while we're at it.
