I was trying to recall why the name Fire Blaster seemed familiar, and then I remembered: He came down to a small local in NJ and I got the chance to play him in Project M singles. He's a cool guy, and I got to see him kick it in Melee, too. He played Mario in both games.

AABatteries321 Yoshi has this mechanic with her shield where she can take any hit in the first few frames without taking any damage or hitstun and is free to move in any way. Its called a parry.

Is Dreamland the only legal stage in this game?

+23mrbee no, normally there are 2 other legal stages. (I think) but some are hazordus and hyrule is so big it normally results in camping. but for this specific tournament dreamland was the only legal stage. its the most neutral stage. even with the wind.

+23mrbee Dreamland is the only legal stage. Hyrule used to be legal, it was banned rather recently. Sometimes you will see people agree to Congo or Hyrule or Peach's Castle. I love Hyrule and wish it was still legal

great match and I know this is old but the backseat player commentator is a bit annoying. it's much easier to know exactly what to do in every situation when you're watching from afar rather than being in the situation under the pressure.
