Be too dude. It's the best place for snowkiting. Just follow the locals and check when the conditions are good. Roads there are quite safe. Wind is amazing here. Magical you could say.

I would recommend getting lessons first then you can get away with using a bigger kite, but a 10m and 12m is the average size to use for snowkiting at the Lautaret pass in France. Otherwise you can buy a cheap 3m kite and even those if used right can take you up hill and are great to practice with.
