love every one of your videos! you are so super funny, I am always laughing out loud, alone in my studio, family thinking I'm crazy. 🤣 I print a lot of Victoria Designs digital kits & have an Epson ecotank & the inks that were included did last me a year. I recently found on Amazon replacement ink that was a fraction of the cost& works great! (The main drawback on this printer is the cost of that ink when you do have to replace it and the initial cost of the printer was an investment for sure) overall I'm happy with it and glad that I got it after months of research. it's a difficult decision and an excellent question to post for the community

Enjoy seeing your creativity. I use an ECO printer. I learned you to intensify the ink media when the colour needs to be brighter & change specific paper quality. IE …. Say it’s presentation paper or photo paper even if it’s not, reminder to let the paper dry flat. Thank you 👏🏻👏🏻🏵

Great tutorial. Can't wait to make this. I have an old HP Colour Laserjet approx. 10yrs. Never had a problem with it. Toner cartridges are expensive but they last a very long time. Of late there is a colour difference on normal copy paper but I believe that's down to software changes.

Love this so much! You make me giggle every time I watch you. I use an Epson ET2720. LOVE IT! The ink lasts a long time. I once had a printer that was cost prohibitive due to the expense of the ink.

Nice little envelope project Patricia. I use an HP desk jet 3630 all in one printer, that means it can also scan and copy. It is many years old now and still going strong. I pay for instant ink £4.49 per month which means HP automatically ship ink when you are running low. It has an APP for easy printing. I also use good quality paper esp for digikits e.g get the premium copy paper when you buy paper it will give much better results than cheap stuff. I had Epson printers for years and have to say the HP far outperforms them. You can get newer versions of the all in one for approx £60 on Amazon. I have printed on photo paper, labels and acetate, all good. I would recommend these instant inks if you want a good little workhorse, not too expensive and just run off a lot of digitkits etc.

Patricia, I really enjoyed listening to you! Great sense of humor! ❤ I live in Brasil sooo my printer model may not be too helpful... I use an inkjet by Canon, model G610 purchased in Jan 2023. It's an 'ink tank' model (no cartridges, the - very expensive (here) inks come in bottles. It is rated as a 'photo quality printer' and the images are very good. It uses 6 colors rather than the usual 4 ( the 2 xtra colors are grey and red). All colors look much brighter than my previous Canon which is mostly good for more faded or everyday printing : it's a G4100 model). I've had an issue with the previous g4100 that at least once every 10mo I have to Mail the entire printer - in its orig8nal box - to a Canon service center to have the 'ink overflow catch pad' replaced...this ends up costing me about 10% of what I've paid for the printer originally... Sooo the NEW model G610 allows me to buy a new cartridge to change the ink-overflow pad myself it also costs about 15% of what I originally paid for the printer...and 😢a new set of 6 bottles of ink costs me 50% of what I paid for the printer! But at least I don't have to wrap, carry and ships the best, and wait for it to return... ONE OTHER important thing is that this printer pulls paper of higher gsm (grams per meter) that is, I can reliably printer onto 230gsm ( thicker cardstock) and have used top notch photopaper as high as 320gsm. The expectation is that the printer will not have as long a life when you use it with such thick paper frequently - fyi to all. The ink is supposed to last long without fading and in fact, in my humid climate it has held up MUCH better than my other printers'. Overall, we're it not for the very hi cost of the consumables, I'm happy with the printer for the last 4mo I've owned it!

Thank you Miranda🙏❣️ I can appreciate all you have said about your Canon printer ❣️ … being originally from Europe (France) I know for a fact that some specifics from same printers are completely different for “foreign” markets … and that actually quality is way more important overseas than for the US market !!! 🙄 your printer sounds really good 👍🏻 I guess that US customers are not as “picky” and just replace …. Thanks so much for this fun tutorial🌻I have an HP Envy photo 7855. I love the Instant Ink program and it’s an inkjet. I usually do some kind of spray on the backside of the digitals I print and I really like how the ink bleeds through. The only downside is when trying to print low contrast neutral designs the results are really washed out and yellow.

I use inkjets with refillable cartridges and universal ink refills (bought from Amazon) because I make a lot of my own digitals and it's too expensive to print loads of coloured images otherwise. The refillable cartridges are a bit finicky but well worth it if you print loads. I don't think the model of printer is too important, they all have their pros and cons. I used to have an Epson XP but it clogged up too often so I bought a second-hand Brother. The Brother chugs along like a workhorse but the output is much duller than the Epson, unless I print on photo paper, then it's outstanding, so I print on copy paper when I want muted background sheets and on photo paper when I want something that pops.
