Hey DrewTony'Z! I did some research on TV Tropes and I was surprised to learn that Chun-Li is the de facto main hero of the entire Street Fighter series. She is one of the few to consistently oppose Shadaloo from the Street Fighter Alpha trilogy all the way to the Illuminati in Street Fighter III.

Capcom couldn't make a plot like this for their SF films and cartoons because they lost confidence when Mortal Kombat pulled off a tournament plot better than they did. But you dude, managed to pull that off!

Even though Fighting can be bad sometimes, you can make friends or rivals. With that match against T.Hawk and E. Honda, that displays it perfectly. Ryu is like a mentor, an encouraging man, someone who cares about other people. Even though this ain't animated, it's still awesome!

Thank you! It does follow the old canon. Street Fighter IV Aftermath videos overwrite my story, but I'm not taking them into consideration aside from Sakura's and Chun-Li's, because they were never released outside Japan. That's my opinion only, some fans do consider them to be canon events. I used Movie Maker.

I wonder why you didn't put Ryu fight against Chun-Li in this story. Plus I am a bit confused of the ending part. At least you did some good editing. Well done!

I tried to follow the canon, they never fought in SF2, they did in SFA3 and maybe in SFIV. In the end, Chun-Li returns to the life of a simple young girl, but her SFIV intro reveals that she's needed and thus goes back to being an Interpol agent.

At least you did try to make it try to make it canon. Chun-Li once believe that after defeating Bison and destroy Shadaloo, her life can go back to normal. However she can't escape her life as a fighter and an Interpol agent. However, you did forget to add Ryu's confrontation with Akuma but ha lost do to his goal to avenge master Gouken. He then later join Ken, Cammy, Guile and Chun-Li the final battle with Bison. That would make a good canon too.

You could remake this using Ultra Street Fighter 2 if you own a Switch. The characters have their original colours and super combos as standard in that game, no cheats required.

there is a few holes in this but this is still awsome (for example since when could chun li fight akuma shes not on his level at all plus technically its not specifically said ken beat ryu if he beat ryu he might as well win since chun li isnt on his level either)

Sorry, total lore noob here who has just binge-watched SF media for a whole week straight... are all of the dialogue and interactions here taken directly out of Turbo's "cutscenes" or did you interpolate some of them? (And how do you justify the insertions if so?)

Regarding the dialogue, everything's my original work. I took inspiration and materials from the characters' win-quotes, endings and overall story. I also checked the SF Wiki and watched a tournament-like SSF2HD Remix trailer.

It would be kinda better if played with the Hyper Street Fighter 2(with arranged music, of course, this CPS music makes it so retro), but is such a great story! Too bad Ryu isn't the protagonist he should be here, but since isn't clear who wins SF2 tournament and some versions tell that Sagat gave up the tour because Ryu was eliminated, so it kinda makes sense!

Bevin James Canon wise, there is no actual winner. Akuma killed Bison and disappeared. It's currently unknown who the Fighter was.

Yeah... I say screw that. This makes no sense at all. You would think with all the shit that went down on account of Bison in the Alpha series, every last entrant in the tournament would know EXACTLY who he is and that he's up to something. Not to mention, they the %$#%$# would all the contestants be far weaker in this than they are in SFA3 . Also in Bison's ending in SF2, he doesn't take a new body, he just eliminates all threats and conquers the world. SFA3 also has no explanation as to how Cammy ended up fighting for England, when XMvSF does. it much more plausible that the Alpha series takes place between SF2 and SF3. THis is supported father by the fact that Ryu is following Akuma to take revenge for the supposed death of his master, by Akuma's hand, through out the entire Alpha series. In sSFA3, Ryu doesn't even know who Bison is and Chun-Li is an interpole agent. Also, Vega, Balrog, and Sagat are all members of Shadaloo in SFA3, but there is no in game confirmation of this in SF2. In this game, according ton their endings, Vega is after glory, Balrog is after fame and money, and Sagat want revenge against Ryu and to reclaim the title that he feels he stole from him in the first tournament. In SFA3, Sagat's fight with Dan makes him realize the the self destructive nature of vengeance, give its pursuit up to rival Ryu as a competitor, rather than an enemy, and defects from Shadaloo. Another factor is that in basically every other ending, but Bison's, in SFA3, Bison is killed, his body destroyed by his own power(and some times with the addition of another's power as well), Including Akuma's ending in which Akuma destoy's Bison's body with the raging demon technique. In SF2, Akuma does the same thing to Bison, but Bison's body still remains. So he's probably not dead after that, just unconscious. Also, interesting fact... Balrog has more teeth in SF2, than he does in SFA3.
