It's "Super Trouper" not "Super Trooper". Super Trouper is the brand name of a line of follow spots (a type of stage light). Once you know this, the lyrics actually make sense: "Super Trouper beams are gonna blind me ... Super Trouper lights are gonna find me."

I found this fantastic choir completely by accident - looking for Let the River Run - and I couldn't believe how they sang that song. It was absolutely the best version I have ever heard.
