I have loved ABBA for so long,and back then there was no internet. Now I see them during lots of interviews that I never saw back then and I feel in my heart what they must have felt. In 1 hour I can see from all of their beginning 💕 to their heartbreaking end💔.💕💝 I feel like I know them even though I know I don't. I still love you ABBA!💝

My friend once remarked that the two female singers were like the Stepford wives and being controlled by the two guys. I promptly told him if it was true it was a brilliant idea. Bjorn and Benny wrote the songs and sang too but they put Agnatha and Frida up front which was brilliant! Who could resist a beautiful blond and brunette who could also sing and harmonize together well? The answer is no one! They took over for the Beatles in the Seventies and dominated Pop music in their decade until 1980 exactly! They have so many brilliant Pop songs that are masterpieces. Starting with the huge dance hit Dancing 💃 Queen which is still popular to this day! I had a coworker friend who said he loved that song! And he was a tough looking guy. So they transcended every category to appeal to everyone from 8 to 80 just like the Beatles did. I still think Knowing Me, Knowing You and Take a Chance on Me are some of the best Pop songs ever written! Just get ABBA Gold on CD 💿 and you’ll be amazed, like I am, at their incredible songwriting and singing. ABBA are Eternal just like the Beatles are! A Pop Phenomenon! Thanks ABBA for the great timeless Pop Music and the fine European Style Melodies! Bravo! Well Done! 👏🏻🎸😎

@@jamesgilmore8256 They were the perfect pop group 2 great songwriters and 2 great singers who harmonized well plus they all sang and they had good production, too. And their timing was right as well. Just when the Beatles had finished in 1970 out comes this new pop sensation! It’s like the Baton was passed to them! Timing is everything! They didn’t compete directly with the Beatles so it worked out great! The Beatles dominated the Sixties and ABBA owned the Seventies! And you had a beautiful blond and brunette up front and 2 pleasant and fun guys playing piano and guitar supporting them. That was appealing and still is! And I know people who still go GaGa over Dancing 🕺 💃 Queen! It’s the perfect Disco Dance Tune that anyone and everyone can singalong to and dance to! The beat is just right so anyone from 8 to 80 can dance to it and invent their own dance moves. ABBA is forever!

@@jamesgilmore8256 Yes, they did have great production just like the Beatles did but if you don’t have the songs and the singing abilities what do you have? Nothing! George Martin was shocked at the quality of songs they would bring him and he would polish those Gems 💎 into shiny Diamonds. He was also a great arranger! But it all starts with the songs and the quality of the material. Otherwise, you find yourself trying to make a Silk purse out of a Sows Ear! To use an old Analogy. So the songs are essential and come first.

I truely believe Agnetha was and still is a warm hearted human being and looking like an Angel. But after all she is human and not without failure. And from what I read she's a very sensitive person. For a normal human it can be difficult to live together with an angel. I wouldn't blame Björn as the bad guy for the divorce.
