Simple.. Swift has hill hold assist in all models and i10 comes with 4 airbags and hill hold assist is available from sports variant. Swift has 18 km fuel average and i10 gives 15 km in city, but bumper to bumper traffic i10 consumes more fuel in lower gears, Swift wins here.. it never goes down below 15 km average.. Swift is a faster vehicle with great pickup it has more horse power than i10. Swift scores better in highway sharp turns, very stable, i10 is also stable, but on close competition Swift is better. Swift steering is not upto the mark, i10 steering is very good and it doesn't give any shoulder pain at all. Swift has the old plain looks inside the vehicle, i10 is very good inside the cabin. Suzuki engine is one step ahead of Hyundai and solid performance for its lifetime, but Hyundai really struggles after 12 years with transmission, suspension and the ac, needs frequent maintenance. Conclusion: smooth vehicle for 10 - 12 years with city and highways and half-clutch driving ability in hills, acceptance to take a drop in fuel economy, go for i10. Reliable and butter smooth engine, great mileage - go for the Swift.
