Thank you for talking about the hands not being able to hold the sword well, I was disappointed when I got mine and wondered if it was just me, but it’s just the figure being poorly made. Same thing with the shoulders. Glad to know I’m not alone.

Yeah same here. There's no way for him to hold it straight. You can sort of do it in one of the open hands but then it waggles and falls out. It's a very odd figure and TBH quite expensive for what it is. I'm fond of it but for the price it should have been better quality.

Definitely neat. Only thing it beats Matty in is that waist cut. Them legs, though, dang, that's a deal breaker.

It's...odd, right? I can make him look cool on the shelf just fine but he suffers due to these legs.

There’s no detail in the look of the lions other than the heads. No leg outlines or tails. I was thinking that I missed the boat on this but it’s meh. Good review though.

The MATEL BLAZING SWORD Talking box version looks like it just jumped out of the 80s cartoon. Just wish it was like 12 or 13 scale

It’s “funny” that Super7 just came out with the deluxe version...it’s this sane figure but with a metallic touch as to remember the old Voltron days of the beloved die-cast metal we all got wet for.Its funny tho cause it’s like super7 admitting they f%*kd up with this one ☝️

thanks for the video. i was on the fence with this. this voltron dos LOOK cool but mattel's blazing sword voltron is more of an "Ultimate" than this guy. i dont think super7 knows what (Ultimates) means. so far all the stuff i'v got with Ultimates seem like its just a way to charge more. BUT i'm still going to buy there stuff because its still cool, and no one else is doing most of it . . not geting this voltron. Thank You, your video's are good 👍

Face looks better than the original prototype or mockup but the arms seem strangely long. I’d love to see a 5 or 6 inch non-transforming die-cast Voltron. Maybe something like a Super Robot Chogokin or Soul of Chogokin FA version.

I think Super7could do a good Transformers action figure line. They should be bigger than the Hasbro stuff. It would be good to have a 10" Optimus Prime and Megatron and then all the other characters could be 6". I'm not really sure why Super 7 made this figure, it was kinda random, its just a one time thing I guess.

This thing looks like it's made out of plasticine. I get they are going for the animated look hence the lack of details, but it just looks soft. I really feel Super 7 tries to bite off more than they can chew with everything that they attempt to do. Their movie Conan figures are just...ugh...I mean if these things were lower in price, you can forgive their shortcomings, but $50 US for all these just puts them in a near premium category and they honestly don't hold up to scrutiny most of the time.

Isn't this just a repaint of the Mattel one? It looks just like it, but isn't truly anime accurate like Mattel's. EDIT: Nevermind, the arm articulation is different.

If it wasn't for those oversized arms, that would be a pretty great looking (and cartoon accurate) Voltron. No idea if it's a nod to some vintage toy, but the red-lion arm looks quite ridiculous... It's even longer than the green-lion one. It really makes no sense. I wonder what's the design process behind that decision, which - in my opinion - hobbles an otherwise very sleek action figure.

Super 7 should definitely stay away from transformers and any future Voltrons unless they totally want to redeem themselves.Looks like dollar store cheep figures.Nothing ultimate here.IMO
