I bought one of these! It's my first Super7 figure of any kind. While I prefer non-articulated figures so I can focus on detail, I was glad to see Super7 get this unique sculpt (the charged, extended dorsal plates). I haven't gotten mine out of his awesome box yet due to lack of time, but I'm excited.

@MikesMonsters Finally had a chance to open him up! I really like this figure! The only complaint I have is that the tail was really hard to get on; I couldn't get it to fit without heat treatment. Other than that, he looks great on display. The frosty blue dorsal plates are as nice as I hoped for.

Godzilla Minus One can’t shoot an atomic blast when his spines are popped out, so it wouldn’t make sense to come with one!

thanks for the review, great photos. One thing that stuck out to me however is that you denied other reviewer's claims that this figure (and other Super7 Godzilla figures) was overly glossy. I suppose that when the figure is not under studio lights, then it wouldn't stand out as badly, but then I watched the comparison part of this review where you placed the figure next to a bunch of other figures and those other figures don't appear glossy at all under the same studio lights. So, either those figures are too matte or the Super7 Godzilla is too glossy. But I don't hear complaints about SHMA or X-Plus Godzilla figures being too matte, so only one of these claims can be true. It's okay to not notice it though.

I’ve seen a few folks who have the original release and this new one say that the charging version is a big step up in quality. So I don’t think you’ll be disappointed if you end up pulling the trigger and ordering one!

The separate head sculpts technically allow for more specific expressions. But I’m expecting they’ll do articulated mouths in the near future.

Anybody have a hard time connecting the tail to the body? I can’t get mine attached….any advice? Heat maybe?

In my video I state that I have this issue. I used a hair dryer on the joint and the connection socket to heat both us and got them to attach after that.
