I initially pre-ordered these through Dorkside Toys... I am sure I have to don't explain why my order was canceled. I have yet to place an order through any site, but I did pay for Wave 3 through Super 7, so I do have a commitment to get these figures as I have no modern MMPR figures right now. I know I want 2 Putty Patrolers, at minimum. I really want more like 8 of them, but at $55 each... unless if Super 7 plans on keeping them in stock or BBTS can keep ordering them, I would have to slow crawl my way to army building these guys. I would most likely display a few each as Rita or Zedd patties, but if I had a bunch... I would at least take a pic of them in a group with those other accessories.

I don't get why people are soo bent on having figures with 90 points of articulation. More joints means more that can get loose and have to be repaired. Plus it's not like complaining is going to make them add more articulation. They made up for the articulation with the amount of accessories included. It's a fair trade off imo

@@douggoins2960 Fair trade can also be having figures with good articulation AND good accessories. There's absolutely no reason to sacrifice one over the other, especially in case of Super7 when their figures cost 50$ 💀

@@douggoins2960 doesn’t need 90 points of articulation but should be able to do a basic pose other than “puts arms out”. Double jointed elbows knees, a good ab crunch and legs that actually move forward at the hips is plenty. These don’t do anything.

@@douggoins2960 I don’t care about having a bunch of little pieces of plastic that I won’t use. It’s just cheap junk because they can’t be bothered to actually figure out a good articulation scheme.

Great review 🙂 The head with the red eyes is representing the Japanese footage, and the other is PR footage. They used different masks in the show.

Actually, I think they may have just accidentally packaged him with the wrong head on. The red-eye head is actually for the Z Putty, and the dark eye bumpy head was the season 1 version.

@@chadm2225 When regular Putties appeared with red eyes, it was only in Japanese footage (with a smooth sculpt). All US footage of regular Putties only had empty eyes with dark makeup (bumpier sculpt). US footage didn’t get red eyes until the Z-Putties. JP = smooth sculpt & red eyes. US = (regular) bumpy sculpt with empty eyes, (Z Putty) bumpy sculpt with red eyes.

these really do have good shelf presence. I am not buying the putties because I would need at least five. Can't have just one. Going to cross my fingers on a long-term discount, even though I suspect that these will not end up heavily discounted like the stuff that you could preorder at the height of the pandemic (I think EE and big-bad over ordered then and have since been a bit more responsible)

Wondering how the Jersey looks on other figures. Ideas fot that. If looks right on certain ones. I don't mind mixing this with the LC ones. Honestly just has me think can use like a special one shot super putty like hiw there was a lone Shocker Combatman that did some damage to the Riders in a special.

The one disappointment is that the belt isn’t removable. Z-putties don’t have belts, so it looks off.

Pretty cool seeing the Putties get all their costume accessories. Shame they didn't have their waiter outfits from the Kimberly's bad day episode. But other then that they're pretty awesome.

How does the Z Putty look without the belt on? They didn’t have belts in the show but I’m curious about that ball joint, and if the belt even comes off.

They also had different boots on the show. Trying to make a season 1 Putty that can also become a Z-Putty is a valiant effort, but falls kinda short. Shame about the peg breaking off too. Those wrist pegs are WAY too thin.

Honestly saw the review of a few super 7 MMPR figures already and I'm not impressed at all. the only thing that justifies the price point is the amount of accessories that's it. Hasbro has them beat by a long shot and before anyone goes ohh but VHS do you own any super 7? yeah i actually own a few of the TMNT super 7 and again for that price point. I rather pay a bit more and get a mafex or mezco or a storm collectible. yeah sure it's about 30 bucks more than the stand ard super 7 but you get a whole lot for them 80 bucks. especially if its a mezco you are getting cloth goods and a bucket load of accessories + articulation. which is something super 7 is severely lacking. none the less i hope you enjoy your figure and stay awesome

They should've just did a separate Z-Putty figure. With the parts attached it looks really inaccurate and the Z-Chest part looks less like a vest and more like a sports bra.
