IKR? & also, the Super7 Panthro has cat-like eyes while the Mattel version has a clear round pupil. So I like 7 version better & the color of his draws matter not to me.

Thanks for the tip, I used the popping-off leg method and definitely time saving .... only downside is popping the leg back on will require some heating and finesse, but not too hard.

I completely agree Toy Bro. We have to get head sculpts of the other Thundercats with glowing eyes. It's too iconic not to have. I still haven't heard how those of us who ordered from Big Bad Toy Store or other online retailers are going to get the booster pack.

BBTS will be shipping out the booster packs as soon as they get them. I also spoke with Rudy at Super 7 and he said the customer service dept. will send out the booster pack if you purchased them from a third party seller like ebay or a con, just have to send a pic of the figures with your name tagged in it .

Well that was a juvenile and crappy comment. He knows the calves on the Mattel and Super7 ones have that issue, and getting a corrected calf wasn't part of the plan. So laughing at him taking the time to help us collectors out was extremely disrespectful.

I spoke with Rudy at Super 7 and he said the customer service department will send out the booster pack if you purchased them from a third party seller like ebay or from a convention. You just have to send a pic of the figures with your name tagged in it .

Also, Jackalmans "upper" shins are reversed and on the opposite leg to be anatomically correct. The mattel version had this problem and Super 7 repeated this mistake as they copied the mattel build perfectly... including the assembly error.

I got my "Booster Pack" a couple of weeks ago, but I've been putting off doing this, until today. It took me a little under and hour. It was ridiculously difficult. I just cut off the light blue shorts to begin with. Stretching those new shorts over the feet sucked, but not as bad as trying to get it over the calves and thighs. I did try and pop the legs off, but it felt like the legs might bend or break due to how much heat I had been applying, so I went back to shimmying them on with my fingers and heat. The screwdriver tool they showed looked like it was going to damage the shorts, so I just used my fingers. I actually almost pulled my nail off trying. Finally, I just heated and yanked, and I got it. Those shorts are super durable. It is complete garbage that we have to put this on ourselves. An extra head sculpt (the same one we already have, just glow paint dotted on the eyes) is not enough compensation IMO.

Nah, I'm pretty sure this is an isolated incident. Wave 2 was supposed to come out some point last year, then it was hopefully going to come out by the very end of last year, then Brian was hoping at the very beginning of this year. But the Chinese New year is making things take much longer for Super7. With being such a small company and making very intricate figures, they don't have the power to get things handled super quickly. I'm just thinking the extra long wait will insure everything is good to go. But I'm not sure why the Turtles stuff has gone a lot more quicker/easier than ThunderCats.

Super7 is trash, so don't hope too hard. Especially since wave 3 is coming out before wave 2, because wave 2 is being done by the same crappy factory that "supposedly" screwed up wave 1. 😒

So yea…… the torso snapped after pulling the legs off because it still required pressure. This was a pain in the ass… second time around I’m just cutting the shorts off. 😩

I feel lucky that I have the Mattel version of Panthro and Jackal Man. I missed out on the Mattel Lion-O. I bought the Super7 version from BBTS. Naturally my Super7 Lion-O has locked joints, weird eyes and paint spray. Everything that I have come to expect from a Super7 action figure.

Same here, the lighter blue trucks pop more. Plus I have the Mattel ones, so no need to do this at all. As far as how to get them, Brian has stated multiple times in videos on here that everyone that ordered these will have them shipped to them. I'm just not sure about that whatsoever. If you ordered directly from Super7, then I wouldn't be all that concerned. But, if you ordered from anywhere else, that's a logistical nightmare. And I don't put any faith in the communication, money spent on shipping these out, and all the time involved. I ordered from BBTS, so that's as close to ordering directly from them as it gets. But then I'm thinking about all the ppl that purchased off of eBay. Like the certified sellers that happen to have an eBay store. Then you got ppl that sold theirs already. So this pack will be going to them and not all the new owners. Then all the ppl that have moved since then. It's just extremely overwhelming. I hope ppl having difficulties will be able to contact Super7 to get theirs.

If you ordered from S7 direct they'll just mail it. Supposedly their approved retailers will be doing the same. If you got them off the secondhand market, email S7 customer service.

Yes! With popping off Panthro's legs, that's the obvious option. So when I saw those instructions, they were just very baffling. Not to mention it requires three arms since you have to consistently keep heating it up according to them lol. 11:50 - Noticing that you heated up the peg also. I've accidentally got pegs heated up in the process before with warming up the holes. Trying to get those peg pieces to go back in, they were about to tear off cause of the gumminess and pressure. Maybe it just varies from part to part, but I always thought it's only beneficial to heat up the side that's getting plugged.

I finally got round to doing this and yeah it's barely worth it, so easy to damage the figure. And the blue doesn't even match, so i should have just painted the "Thunderpants" lol

Anyone have an issue popping the legs back in? I can’t for the life of me get his left leg to pop back in place, I got lucky with the right side. Should I just heat the thigh? Or just the joint at the hip? I got 3 blisters already from squeezing and twisting and pushing but I can’t get it to pop in place.... someone give me advise please.

Yeah, it actually was one of the calves that was incorrect. But nah, that was never a part of the correction. So they're just the same as the Mattel ones. For me, it really doesn't bother me. As much of a perfectionist and noticing every little detail, I didn't even know when I got the original release from Mattel that there was a duplicate calf.

@@onjohns1 Brian addressed that in an interview last year, but yeah, it was still a thing that happened. When you don't have tons of money (like compared to Hasbro or even NECA), it can be very difficult barking out orders and such with the factories that can just drop you and make way more money with some other company that "complains" less. It's just a lot tougher than a lot of ppl know. Doesn't mean they don't _extremely_ care, it just can be very rough.

Using a blow dryer always runs the risk of warping the surrounding ABS plastic. Boiled water is always the safest bet from my experience. With regards to reattaching the legs...heating up the leg pegs is unnecessary and not recommended as it'll only add to the struggle. Jackalman's harness unclasps at the center red part. At least the Mattel version does. And lastly swapping Jackalman's calves and shins weren't hard at all.

Seconding this! Heating the leg pegs is not advisable at all; they’ll squish and resist against popping back into the socket, rather than staying firm and letting the socket move around them. There’s also a chance you can tear the peg if you apply rotation when pushing the legs back on. I would also suggest holding your thumb around the figures “undercarriage” when pulling legs off. I’ve had Mattel MOTUC figures split at this point. Giving it some support with your thumb may help with that.

yeah, use your choices of "heat-up process" hot water or hand held air heater. Then heat up the cafes, pop them off. Heat up the feet, pop them off. put the feet on the correct ankles. Then heat up cafes and put them on the correct sides. And SHAZAM your Jackalman will be ready to do dirty deeds done dirt cheep. enjoy👍

depends on where you bought it. If it bought it from a person, you might be SOL, unless Quality Toy Review is accurate. BBTS emailed all purchasers and had Super7 automatically send it out unless you told them not to.

Super7 fumbles more than they are worth dealing with. I’m done supporting anything Super7 does anymore. They act like their job is done once they secure customers’ orders. Then it’s off to the next thing they can sell and not focus on fulfilling previous orders with product worthy of their price in a timely manner. Some nice releases but I’m no longer interested.
