I bet some chrome tape on the rear fender will solve your tail light issues. Pro biker here. I would also put some self stick foam wether striping around the head light and seal up any spots i could with Thin black plastic. Old plastic Oil jugs and such are free and when paired with Zip ties can add tons of free protection from the elements. Also Silicone on electrical connections and pass throughs is a major upgrade

The bike is nice and I can see where it would be very useful in the city but I am an out2doors man that needs a bike that can not only be used in the electric mode for getting into the woods but also add a gas engine for longer distance and while a rear cassette for speed can be added and there is room for a gas engine I would move the horn higher on the frame and add a jackshaft for powering the sprockets and gears but I am having a hard time on where to place the gas tank as the place for normal insulation is taken up by t2he battery. Reasons I like this: I’m short. Everything with a motor feels big to me so at 5’6” this is easily to handle. It’s electric. It’s essentially an electric moped that they slapped pedals on so you can legally go on the bike paths. This is for small people who want an electric moped. Great gas saver.
@dant.63643 жыл бұрын
$3300 for a bike that climbs that small hill at only 10mph, is too cramped to make any real power while pedaling to help with better range. Only one gear. Too small to easily stand when encountering bumpy terrain for better control. Sounds like a complete ripoff to me.

@@TysonRoehrkasse I was wondering through the whole video about a comparison to the HyperScorpion. Performance seems to be very similar. So between the 2 bikes, do you feel the Juiced bike is better overall? Fits a taller person better with the high seat option? Any other big advantages. Love to hear your thoughts. Thx.
@TysonRoehrkasse3 жыл бұрын
@@ScottReinhart For a taller person and commuting or utility uses, definitely the HyperScorpion. It's much more comfortable to pedal and you get a derailleur by default so you can actually pedal at high speeds (felt great at 30-35mph). You get a decent rack built in and Juiced has some awesome cargo accessories. Plus the mirrors and turn signals, and built in alarm. For more fun, adventuring, and especially off-road riding, Super73 seems much better. Better suspension, stronger construction, lighter and more nimble, all-terrain tires. Just my opinion, of course :) Ultimately it will come down to what you want to use it for, and I think they're both excellent bikes.

I think you have to have your phone for that. From what others are saying there is a new firmware update that my bike didn't have, but I'm not sure what functionality it adds.
@martinallison85652 жыл бұрын
Simple answer is no. The bike resets to default mode 1 or 2 depending on whether EU or USA spec, each time it is turned off. You then need a phone (with Internet connection) to change to modes 2, 3 or 4. The road legal mode 1 struggles with hills, and you will need all the gears (10 speed now available). Mode3 takes hill's easily, if you want to go at speed run up necessary. Mode 4 built more for speed on the flat. All depends on your own effort.

And of course, they require gas to operate, the cost of repairs and maintenance is higher... and so on. Depending on what you want to use it for a motorcycle might make more sense. I have the Super 73 R. You don't have to change the pedal assist settings in the app. You just change them from the control even up to unlimited mode. You don't have to pedal that fast either even at top speed. Once your speed levels out you can just easily pedal along at a slow cadence even at 30 mph. It feels like you are superman! I am 5"10" and I can pedal comfortably on it. You are unusually tall at 6"4" and you would have a hard time fitting any of the electric moped type bikes, so that can't be held against the Super 73. I can tell you really didn't' t have enough time with the bike to properly evaluate it and criticized it unfairly in several areas.

@Dennis Mau I don't own Super73, but class modes (including unlimited mode) are changed trough the app. Only PAS level is selectable from bike. This is according to Super73 and many Super73 users. Are you sure you own one?

@@maximusoptimus3817 Yes, and you are wrong! Click PAS level 4 on the handlebar control, and you are in unlimited. Every time you turn the bike off it resets to PAS 0. I do it every day bro!

@@dennismau9103 PAS 4 on the handlebar control does not unlock it to unlimited mode. I literally tested this exact thing in the review, very early in my ride test :) How do you pedal along when going 30mph? Do you have the ten-speed derailleur upgrade installed?

@@maximusoptimus3817 the bike he uses has the original firmware so @Dennis is correct.

@@TysonRoehrkasse If you SAVE Pass 4 on your phone app the Super 73 will stay in Unlimited Mode. I do it every day bro. I have had my Super 73 for 2 months not 1 day like you.

too much road ambiance, keep her in parks while off the bike

If this bike needs your smart phone to be able to change the settings, it's automatically out for me. That's ridiculous
