It's a shame, after "One More Day" (OMD) in 2007 the Marvel writers didn't bring back The Black Cat as the main love/romantic interest for Spider-man. If he wasn't going to be with Mary Jane anymore after OMD, then why not bring back Felicia Hardy? In my mind, # 1 will always be Mary Jane Watson (MJ), and # 2 is The Black Cat. I always say in my relevant comments to this Spider-man romance, Spider-man, and The Black Cat being together, fighting crime together, and having kids, raising the next generation of Superheroes is an awesome storyline, IMO. The Marvel Spider-man writers have done many different storylines over the past 6 decades, why not this one? The upcoming Spider-man No Way Home movie should have the Andrew Garfield Spider-man married to The Black Cat and had kids with her. This is the universe this could work. Gwen Stacy is dead, and they didn't bring in MJ's character in that universe. Speaking of Gwen Stacy, she's now a distant 3rd because she's been dead 48 years in the -main story arc of The Amazing Spider-man (TASM), except for some Clone storylines and the awful plotline where she had twins with Norman Osborn. She really hasn't been a main character in the TASM comics for a long time. Honorable partner/girlfriend mention Silk I still don't understand why Superheroes don't have multiple girlfriends/boyfriends at the same time. They're Superheroes, aren't they? Or have multiple significant relationships over time? For example, why can't Superman get divorced from Lois Lane, after having kids together, and then go with Wonder Woman, have a relationship with her. and have kids together? Or the other way around? There are a lot of Divorces in the US and many families have step-siblings and have half-siblings. I know we're mostly a monogamous society, but you could have other relationships as time goes on. I think this concept should be applied to Spider-man. Get Divorced from MJ and then marry The Black Cat. Or again the other way around. The storyline is one of the PS Games where The Black Cat told Spider-man she has a son was potentially awesome. It wound up she lied to him to get him to help her rob a USB Drive from Hammerhead, but what a great possible storyline! I think that would be better than killing off Peter Parker (as Marvel is planning to do in the near future) and replacing him with Ben Reilly. That plotline again, except this time killing off Peter Parker? Didn't we see this already in The Ultimate Spider-man Universe and in the 1990s Clone Saga story arc? Jeez! I think my idea is better, IMO.

I never understood why Peter prefers MJ over Felicia /Black Cat. Black Cat is hotter, she can actually help him and be useful compared to MJ. Felicia can fight and defend herself. Sam Raimi wanted Peter to break up with MJ in Spider-Man 4 because Peter would fall in love with Black Cat. That would've been awesome, but well, we sadly never got to see that and probably will never see. SM4 was our best chance to get that, but Sony screwed it up! And now Disney is ruining Spidey and all of Spidey related characters, so I don't want them to adapt and ruin Black Cat too.
