X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse is an action game developed and published by Capcom for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1994. The game is based on the X-Men comic book franchise from Marvel Comics. It was the first game Capcom released based on the franchise, released a month before the fighting game titled X-Men: Children of the Atom, also released in 1994. Players control five of the X-Men: Beast, Cyclops, Gambit, Psylocke, and Wolverine. After guiding each of them through their own dedicated levels, players can then select which level to complete next as well as the team member to complete it with. This level is like one of those "I thought it was really hard when I was a kid and never beat the first level" games, except instead of going back to it as an adult and beating the crap out of it, it's just still outright insanely hard. I swear it's like a nightmare that I would wake up in a puddle of sweat from 😂 Good effort, Brett. I love the way you guys analyze every loss in a way that you can eventually blast over a previously difficult hurdle. But man, this game has extra hurdles in it's back pocket!

Never played this one as a kid, but I can tell the difficulty of the levels just by watching. Up until this one I don't think I'd have had too much more trouble than y'all, but this is brutal
