Ya know, I think after almost 10 years of Beard Bros content, majority of it being Jirard playing games, that we can give Jirard a pass for sitting out a few series. I've still been enjoying the content, and while there are times I miss Jirard, I recognize that having him be chained down to long series on BB is just not sustainable given his time commitment to other content.

My comment is only that, to me, I used to have four favorite shows, the Jirard and Alex show, the Jirard and Brett show, The Jirard, Alex, and Brett show, and the Alex and Brett show. Now three of my four favorite shows are on hiatus, and that's sad, but the fourth show is in overdrive, and that's great.

I do vaguely remember Deep Space 9 as kid. In the UK, it used to come on BB2 at about just after dinner time, I think after Simpsons. I mostly recall the opening titles with the space station looming into view. I can't remember specific epsiodes, though. It's all mostly visual memory.

Aw man, you all privated the Grindr episode with Ted? That sucks. That is legit one of the funniest things I've ever seen from the Beard Bros, and you all are pretty _damn_ hilarious. It's seriously something I would consider showing someone if I wanted to show them a first episode of the show to see if they'd like it. Pretty sure all your fans get that TV has some pretty stringent time demands. Even as big as the TOVG studio's staff has gotten, G4 is going to have a LOT more people involved for a way smaller resultant screen time. There's going to be more writers, more producers, studio executives, Jirard will be doing more and more takes to get just the right one, he'll be spending longer in makeup and wardrobe. It all adds up to time away from TOVG. I don't think anyone's going to begrudge Jirard that. He's built a good group of folks who can keep Beard Bros, and if necessary The Completionist, going in his absence. Still, really enjoying the Brett and Alex and a Sega Saturn series. The small talk and banter is quality stuff, and that's what we're here for. We could watch any number of other LPs, but we come here for things like Billy Quizboy, and the story about what happened to Brett's Dreamcast, and the repeated discussion of how long we as a culture kept watching I Love Lucy.
