Thanks for the reaction! When Superbee was coming up in the scene he was mostly a battle rapper and diss rapper. He had his own small crew "GimChiHillGang" at the time. But as time went on, he grew a lot and gathered fame. He was a self proclaimed "Rap Legend". He joined a label called "Ghood Life Crew" created by big name Tiger JK and Dok2 . He then collaborated with huge names on his first album and went onto the hip hop survival show "Show Me The Money" for a third time, which is when his peak came. He left the label and then made his own called "Yng & Rich" and is very successful today, having earned the so called Rap Legend title. He has a very playful side on top of his flexin which you might have noticed! SuperbeewhY is his semi-final performance from his last appearance in SMTM. It was performed together with BewhY- > SuperbeewhY. You should really check out this performance as it is legendary and one of the best ones in SMTM history imo. I've said this before so it will probably come, but check out some Bewhy, one of the best rappers in S-Korea! Also Selfmade Orange is a term Changmo and Superbee both uses. It's a contradictory play on the word Orange, which was used for people that lived with wealth without much effort, usually being from their parents. Saying they are Selfmade Orange's they just mean that they made it here themselves. You heard part 1 in Changmo's killing verse, and this one was part 2.

I love how when I do the first KV from someone over there I get a comment like this that lets me know their backstory and how they are perceived in the industry over there. it's very enlightening afterward as well as it puts in perspective why they are on this and not a rising verse. TY very much for this. I like that SelfMade Orange concept too. Nice cultural note too if I ever do a song with a Korean artist.

12:45 yes, it is a poor translation. Also, Selfmade Orange means that youre a selfmade baller. Orange is a slang for young guys that have rich parents and live life ballin spending their parents money. Hence, Selfmade Orange means you a selfmade millionaire.

Superbee and Justhis do have a song together called Mirror. For the meaning of Saimdang is the women on a 50000 won bill of Korean currency. The song call self made orange could also tie into it cause the bill is sorta color orange.

Orange people were people in the 80s who lived with a lots of wealth because of the sudden economic growth of Korea. They lived well without much effort and in lots of case they got money from their parents. So selfmade orange is kind of a contradictory word.

These translations are terrible. Why does the translation add words that arent even mentioned??? I.e. in the first song, he says “this neighborhood is clueless” but this translation says “this hiphop neighborhood is clueless.” That shit doesnt even make sense.:
