This is another of those Japanese produced american games that is *juuuust* enough jank to be an enjoyable watch, but not enough to be an enjoyable game in a similar vein to stuff like The Evil Within. What is it with Japanese developers being in love with american settings and characters? Resident evil, silent hill, binary domain, metal gear... im guessing hollywood must have something to do with it. I blame the rap music.

This game was developed by a US development team. Square Enix only came up with the core concept of "ghost cop" in an effort to appeal to Western audiences, since there's a fascination with this sort of occult shit over here.
