I think Fafnir was winning so much because of the weaker launch power combined with the weak burst resistance on Hasbro Beyblades as a whole. Though it has no rubber, the friction of Fafnir is still too much for most Hasbro beys to withstand, making slow-motion bursts are still very probable.

I was pretty scared to get into quad drive because of a lot of other channels slamming it pretty hard but oddly enough they're actually really fun. My biggest gripe with it so far is that with the double packs there's always one decent beyblade and one that is absolutely horrible and I wish they'd stop doing that but honestly Hasbro is getting a lot of crap because their 10 dollar toys keep getting compared to 40 dollar ones lol. And it isn't perfect but I think quad is already showing more promise than surge

Don't know about that, Surge has better burst resistance & that says a lot because it had some iffy releases in terms of slopes/combos. Also has better parts. The 4-1 gimmick is causing recency bias, specially since Beytubers barely created content surrounded the Speedstorm Evolution 🤷🏽‍♂️ Aside from myself of course 👀

Hasbro Fafnir F6= 4 different rubber layers. Rubber>NO RUBBER 😡 If you customize the Surge Evo, slopes are the only issue. Speedstorm has better parts. There's no hype surrounding Hasbro bey meta 👀 It's far off from TT meta but Speedstorm is a sleeper. I think people just didn't like it because of their expectations 🤷🏽‍♂️
