No. oxalic Acid /Citric Acid both are Acidic powders which it self work as preservatives.The right amount of both these chemicals are must required in washing powder. The expiry of a washing powder depends on the quality of plastic material or the bag or paper bag in which it will be packed and shelved in the stores.
