How did you put together or what was the source of the impressive visuals, which I believe must be from a history in Argentina? Such a beautiful and nostalgic backdrop for this gorgeous and touching tango. It makes me feel sadness and yearning for a place where I have never been! (Not yet been, I guess I should say....)

@@thomasdosborneii Tom: Here we go again. I'm so glad to get your answer. In reviewing this video (and listening again) I see that the images are a little distant of the meaning of the lyrics of this piece. And very accommodating to the music. The lyrics tell about the up and downs of a couple of lovers, with the final request of the singer : "Don't love me anymore"... A simple translation of the title would be "we were"... and that fits perfectly with the visuals, the way Buenos Aires was, the way the society on it lived, the way we were... I was born there 79 years ago and I haven't visit in many years... But, yes, that's the way we were...
