Super Bowl 45 to me is probably the most underrated Super Bowl ever. Sure it didn’t have historic plays like the Helmet Catch or the James Harrison pick-six, it had two future Hall of Fame quarterbacks in Ben Roethlisberger and Aaron Rodgers. Both teams had a future Hall of Fame defensive player, Charles Woodson and Troy Polamalu. And it was a close game.

as a steeler fan who hated the packers for YEARS for this (it was the only super bowl i saw them play in) i agree strongly. i also recently found a deep love for the packers due to their culture and being publicly owned (i love that cause being from pittsburgh having to deal with bob nutting makes me want to pull my hair out).

I know I said I’m against having celebrities in intros, but Sam Elliott here did a fantastic job. He gave us the culture of the two most historic NFL franchises and what this game meant to their players and especially their great fan bases. He also fitted in well with the Texas theme intro since this game was held at Jerry World in Arlington, Texas.
