MrShinyArceus It depends, by the time u get her, her element is usefull in the dungeon. And yeah, the same Way Ryuji and Ann Góes more and more to the background, her, Crow and Queen gets pushed to the frontlines. And her Confident development is Nice enough. Not as good as Futaba's and Yusuke, but kind of....you better see it' yourself. She is probably the nicest character in the party, and The Second most Fun after Futaba XD

Omg, the palaces are SO much more fun than the randomised dungeons. They make the process of levelling up your characters much less of a grind and give you more options in how you play (sneaking past enemies to save SP vs fighting everything to gain experience). I'm also very happy that the social links with side characters can also give you abilities and increase stats, so it's less of a struggle to decide whether you should hang out with Person X or try to gain more charm points because sometimes you can accomplish both at once.

Actually, I saw it was on sale one day on the PlayStation Store (for $47) and I was already kinda curious so I bought it, got most of the way through the first palace and didn't touch it again for a couple of months until a few days ago and I've been playing it almost nonstop since. In three days, my invested hours went from about 12 or 15 to about 40 or so, the same amount of time it took me to beat Tales of Berseria (which I described as pretty long to an online friend who really seems to like first-person shooters and sports games).

As a person for who Persona 5 was my first SMT style game it couldn't have been a better introduction to the genre. Now granted I played the first 4 palaces on Easy mode, cause y'know new thing, but it felt like such a rewarding game to jump back into every weekend when I got back on console. Very, very good story telling, other than that one sequence before the 5th Palace (You all know what I'm talking about). Now I did watch a good few hours of an lp before jumping in (Just until the 3rd Palace watching) and I am super glad I jumped into this series now. The thing that kept me away from SMT style games was how slow and heavily boring the combat always looked but between the art style, the phenomenal music and very mature nature in handling how a group of teens would handle super natural powers with genuine moral questioning was so unique to me. Also I'm studying Jung a bit so this game handling the idea of the 'persona' and demon I was like a child in a candy store visiting the concept of the Palaces. Also just to flame the waifu wars further Makoto is best girl, if Futaba was, not 15, it would be more difficult to decide. Ann was too cardboard outside of her confidant. She blended into the background with Yusuke Morgana and Ryuji after the bug boys Palace. Makoto had so much more development and interaction all through the game right to the end. (Also let's just face it, Ann and Ryuji were totally getting it on behind Jokers back.) Moral of the story; P5 very welcoming game to newcomers in every possible way, and Makoto best girl and waifu for laifu.

I just finished this game for the first time, first game in the series. I played on normal. I found the difficulty curve to be fantastic, as whenever I died, it's because I was careless (or an unexpected attack from a boss) but I never found myself stuck or overwhelmed. It was easy to learn and pick up for sure, and it never felt too punishing.

16:17 the term for this type of story development is actually called "en media res" which is Latin for in the middle of things. It's when the story throws you in the middle and you are filled into what is happening through dialogue or in this case, a ton of flashbacks. (I started playing P5 when learning the Odyseyy and I got so happy when I realized that)

When a game gets you to cry because the characters and the journey was so good that you're happy it's over but sad to see these guys quest end, you know that's a damn good game! I loved Ann from day 1, but then Makoto came along and punched me right in the feels, then once I thought I had all that figured out, Futaba hacked her way into my heart, like the fuck (Haru was there too I guess). Honestly I like seeing Futaba, Sojiro, and the Protag as the wholesome glasses adoptive family, so I went for that. As for romance... I didn't date anyone cuz I was still salty about Yusuke (just look at that beautiful man)

I think it's moreso the fact that she comes in relatively late in the game so you don't have as much time to get comfortable with her in the group, it's kind of like the Naoto situation except with Naoto you got to see her when you first got Kanji. As far as her character goes, I like her, she just comes in a little late.

I love the character designs, and sass choices. The art makes me drown in a puddle of tears for how lovely it looks! I feel like this is the video Atlas used when deciding what to change in persona 5 royal. Baton pass is available immediately, ammo is refilled between fights (and makes a lot of sense with the cognition theme) and the camera is movable fully during stealth
