The tyres appear to be PAX tyres which are the run flats for the armoured version. Also, the thick aperture for the doors (the space between the window glass and the inside panel of the door) suggests that the car was designed to be armoured from the start. Very nice, Mercedes Benz.

I was watching a documentary on the Saudi Royal family, and they all turned up in a fleet of these.......followed by G Wagons! Here in Monaco, the car hierarchy includes a Mercedes-Benz as the the luxury car of choice (Range Rover is the 4x4 and Ferrari is the sports car.....although the Brits are taking over with McLaren and Aston Martin)...........but we have never experienced anything like this Pullman.
