SuperCat Cebu to Tagbilaran, Bohol is Back | St. Sealthiel | Philippines Travel

Last of our SuperCat series is a barko vlog from Cebu City to Tagbilaran City, Bohol, Philippines. We will be onboard St. Sealthiel the former Mt. Samat Ferry 5 and SuperCat 25. Just last December 2022 SuperCat has announced that they are back on Cebu to Tagbilaran route that has been dominated already by Oceanjet Fast Ferries Corporation so I am very excited to be onboard another SuperCat this time to Bohol.
It took us almost 3 hours doing Cebu to Tagbilaran, find out why in this video.

Sailed on her many times. 4 of which had that water rubbish going on. We had to stop then reverse and then forward again just to get rid of rubbish that got stuck on the propellers. I also experienced that once on St. Braq. The last time I sailed on this vessel, they had to open the doors on the tourist accommodation from Tagbilaran all the way to Cebu since the A/C is broken. I paid for a tourist accommodation without A/C. Anyhow, I will still sail with SC than OJ.

Hi Mark, love you videos. Lots of information for us, tourists. On that point. I and my wife are travelling to Bohol soon, and I have a number of questions only an experienced local guide can provide. 1. Which gives better service Oceanjet or Supercat 2. When is the last ferry from Cebu to Tagbilaran as I think we will be reaching Cebu at around 3 pm by flight? 3. Are tickets always available at the ticket counters? Or are they available online also? Which is better to avail? 4. Can I reach Panglao same day after suppose I have to take the last ferry to Tagbilaran? It would be of great help if you can provide me this info.

i rode st Sealthiel again she running at 18 knots sometimes 12-15 knots due some engine troubles because the ship was fully loaded. The oceanjet overtakes us even they are delayed from departure. Oceanjet 9 is having same issues with st Sealthiel also.
