Sadly, even with all the big advertising campaigns, CoC is still losing an average of 1.6 million players per month. They are scrambling to try to save it but most of the clash YT channels are dropping to nearly unsustainable levels right now and when they inevitably move on then the decline will accelerate. I think supercell should go back to the 18 month period per town hall and improve some of the current issues, in my opinion recruiting,trophy wise,socialising,events,builder base all need to be improved while one I’d like improved personally would be an updated clan perks and customisation and maybe a more fair cwl system. While supercell only focuses on making the game faster and requiring us to play more and more they’re kinda killing off the player base which a lot of new players enjoy for a small time before quitting which is just my general opinion

Another task is to fill clan castles in wars which takes a lot of time out from a day. One could say that there's nothing if you can afford it to boost barracks/gem troops to do it in one go, I don't mean that being any fun but it's core free to play gameplay mechanic to log several times per day to do those chores what war attacks are as well

Near maxed TH16 here I don't like how so much of the content became monetized. The season passes were a good addition to the game because they provided a lot of value. But having a secondary season pass in the middle of a season pass was just cruel. The price of skins doubling in the last year was pretty mean too. This is the first month I have ever not bought a season pass, skin, or base theme. That's like $37USD it was great when skins were only $5 once every month or season so you felt like you earned it by having the whole matching set because you've been playing for a long time. instead of $10 a pop and a whole set of hero skins being available each month and a new theme. I've taken a break for this month. Maybe next month is a time to get back into it. My clan could never stay full in these last few years. Recruiting is BS no one ever joins a clan that's barely hanging on with 10 members. I don't blame them one bit either. Synopsis: Global,may ye rest in peace. Supercell, stop being so greedy

Only thing that is annoying for me is heros not available while upgrading. Without heroes attacks feel boring and tough. Heroes are the core troops in your army and they are not available like 90% of the time. Donations are a problem too but if you have other account or in a good clan it won't bother much.

The rewarding experience of clash of clans just went away. F the company people are seeing thsi comment they should know the reason (i and other) people stopped... 1) Way way way too many stuff to keep track of....we first had clan wars....ok good...then more and more townhalls ,which ig is inevitable...then builder base, then that clan capital thing which i dont know the names of it coz i uninstalled the game by then. 2. Reduce the upgrade times of stuff instead you can even reduce a builder or do something else. 3. Hero upgrading almost never ends coz its the worst bang for your buck as the upgrade is so low... Or...in my case....i had to concentrate to get dark elixir to upgrade so much i finished that alone and Walls i had a lot left to go to next townhall.

I was a faithful clashes for 10 years and I recently quit. I lost love for the game and supercell has killed the game over the recent years with ridiculous updates and repetitive gameplay. I also noticed, adding a complete set of hero skins every 2 weeks didn’t help the cause because $75 USD every 4 weeks is expensive.

Because what they before years ago. And now they doing it again.they always bait and switch. Few months earlier they introduced monthly event where their are 2 mejor rewards and other common rewards. At the start if you complete the full event without the premium pass, you can get 1 mejor and a book of your choice. Last 2 months you can get the mejor reward but won't able to get the book. Now in this month if you don't buy you won't get any mejor reward. Just awesome.

I actually got burnt out because of the constant events they are doing. If you don't join, you're basically setting yourself up to paying for the hero equipment in the future for a small prize of 1500 gems. After dealing with 5 or six repetitive events like that, I just stopped logging in altogether and uninstalled cuz it's getting too boring and P2W. The constant ads inside the game telling to shove a Gold Pass down your throat also made the decision to quit easier lmao.

The thing is : all games must keep a balance between frustration and fun. If a game is too frustrating then you loose money because player quit. Same things happens when the game is too fun. The game is fun therefore when should you pay skins, gold pass,… the game is already fun right ? Take clash royale for example, the game can be very very VERY frustrating but because supercell add events it keeps a bit of fun for player. For clash of clans, player are not frustrated they are bored. Only the main village is truly fun for attacks but the capital clan & the builder base are not. And in the main village, the higher you go the more upgrades there is and can be very long. That’s why clash of clans have a huge problem. The game is great, but the people who quit the game quit because they are bored and not frustrated and when they come back nothing major has changed :(

In my opinion, the worst thing about this game is the long and exhausting upgrades that make new players want to reach a high level. If you don't agree, just look at the required level of the heroes, is it even fun? When should they upgrade 95 times? And every time you get a new TH, it is something that only some old players enjoy and it keeps new players away from the game.

Adding an option in multiplayer, CWL, clan wars to deposit money to fight opponents is the key. The one winning the attack with the fastest time etc wins the pot. It’s gonna save the coc downfall for sure!

The average clash of clans andy finishes in legends league at 5800 taking a beating every day in defenses as equipments and root riders made defending basically not possible unless you're really lucky and using gimmicky cc troops, traps, teslas.
