Supercharged DCT Miata MX5 - POV drive HTG tuning GCU

Casual POV drive in supercharged DCT 7-speed Mazda MX-5 NC Miata. The dual clutch transmission is controlled with HTG tuning GCU Gearbox Control Unit standalone using 1.0.14-2 firmware. Car is equipped with paddle shifters at the steering wheel and BMW F-series gear shifter joystick. ECU is flashed with EcuTek and whole communication between GCU and ECU is handled via CAN BUS.

How do you wire the paddle shifters to the HTG GCU? I have. 300zx twin turbo with BMW M2 DCT. And juat got the paddles for it but unsure how to wire

Unfortunately OEM Miata ECU does not support it as it never had auto box so those strategies are not implemented there by Mazda.

@@HTGtuning never had auto box? 🤔 there was an oem automatic gearbox in option, maybe this car haven’t but mazda offered auto gearbox

Why not just got dbw and after market ecu? I’ve noticed htg cars almost never blip on down.

Could a dct transmission be swapped into a sw20 1991 mr2? Linked to a k20 or k24?

Due to fact that MR2 is transverse layout you'd like to go with DSG. GCU supports it as well :)
