You should put some gloss black door trim over the cut, gives it a cleaner finished product look. Did that on my old Jeep. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

0:34 That' is not a jacking point. You can use the ball of the rear differential as a jack point from the rear.

It reduces drag. Instead of having the bumper hang down and catch air, it allows the air to flow better.

If you tape the area were you cut, you have less change to screw up the paint.

Also, when sanding back a cut like that, using a sanding block. It will give a better and more even finish to the line :)

There's still some tread; but you're right, the tires are nearly done. I'll kill them at the last few autocrosses of this year.
