Hahaha! Well thank ya I gotta tell ya, the answer is a combination of 3 things (2 secret weapons, and some elbow grease): 1. I've got a 6-string banjo (Epiphone) that plays like a guitar - and I've been playing guitar for well over 20 years. So this makes it pretty 2nd nature for me. 2. I use a MIDI guitar (Jamstik Classic) for certain parts. This allows us to go in and edit the performance when "perfect" timing is necessary. So for the really fast stuff, this helps a ton! 3. Some parts I just need to play on a regular banjo or it wouldn't sound right. So I just practice those parts over and over until I've got um. The ol' fashioned way!
