They are great! They are what I used when I built my own harnesses. Before I got smart & started buying new custom harnesses that is, lol!

I built my last LS swap harness about two weeks before Holley came out with the Terminator X EMS. 🤣 You’ll note Chaos Theory here is running in a Holley HP. 😉

Sorry for new comment, would this be good to power stuff like headlighrs bljnkers and windows to make a car street legal?
@BadLuckGarage4 ай бұрын
You can wire this to power whatever you want as long as it doesn’t exceed the ratings for the relays.

By chance you you possible make a video of actually building the fuse box for us dummies, I am Looking to hard wire a beacon, backup pods lights reverse strobe light front light bar and sander all to the truck and I wanted to use a fuse block/relay block to tidy everything together, however I just don’t know exactly how to break it down.. much appreciated if you have the time!
@BadLuckGarage2 жыл бұрын
Brother all you’re doing is wiring up a fuse and a relay 6 times. If you watch my video “HOW TO BUILD A RELAY PANEL” it’s the exact same concept except you’re doing it in a box instead of laid out flat. The videos easy to find. It’s actually my most watched video. 👍 Matter of fact I’m pretty sure I referenced it in this video.

@@BadLuckGarage I actually stumbled upon that video just after the comment and I referenced it with your other video about the nitros switches and then watched the final Wire up Video and I think it finally all made sense man thanks so much for the videos!👍🏼👊🏼

You can get them for $15, they just don’t come with fuses and relays for that price. Everything’s went up over the last year.

Hello I'm new at mak😮comments on her this is my first time trying. I have a question concerning the video on thermostats. I had to be different an instead of doing a V8 swap in my 10 I built the 2.5 151 4 cylinder. It's nice u would like it I have another question for about it later. Ok now it's a 91 throttle body computer controlled engine that ran 200 degrees. It's been a few years I don't remember exactly but I believe 190 something thermostat 200 210 is down the middle normal operating temperature. Now I went gm hei distributor and holley carb. I'm running a 180 thermostat. Since it was a fuel injection motor would 200 be to hot for it now. Since I changed it an put a carburetor have I changed the whole make up of the engine??
@BadLuckGarage Жыл бұрын
No I’m sure it’ll still be fine running at factory temps or even 10 or so degrees cooler if that’s what you’re trying to do. Really doesn’t matter if you have a carb or efi unless you lower the operating temp so far that it interferes by dropping it down into the warmup tables in the tune of it was still efi. And those tables are usually only a concern below 145 degrees or so. Pretty sure I explained that in that video.

Ok I understand I'm not putting my questions or comments in the correct place. Like I said I just figured out how to an this my first time. I know a lot guts race 2.5 151 S10s dirt. Lot guys just build an run in what ever. I drag race mine some street strip truck it runs 10.43s at 66 in 1/8 mile. A lot of guys have put turbos nitrous ect. I want to put a blower / procharger on mine I recently found Amazon an ebay a universal type blow just like the mini roots type blower but bigger on mine. There good 3.5L engine I'm look don't believe i can send a picture but need help advice thanks

It’s not about where you put the comment brother. It’s that most of the time KZbin doesn’t notify content creators of comments on really old videos or sometimes there are so many comments on more recent videos that we just don’t notice or have time to respond to all of them. Sounds like you’ve got quite the project on your hands though. There’s a guy that runs a 4cyl Chevy luv at my local 1/8 mile track. I believe it runs in the 8s and surprises a lot of the stockish V8 guys sometimes. 👍
@jefflewis2929 Жыл бұрын
@Bad Luck Garage I had a 76 luv that I built the 1.8 u can buy lots for the I ended up putting 350 in mine out my circle track car after I crashed it. It ran 8.20s stock rear end. I never ran the 4 at the track but in the 80s. I gave stock camaros an mustangs a run for ther money red light to red light

What size wire would recommend running from the battery to that relay box, mine is about 4 feet away, other side if car

Whatever sizes you need to support the accessories you’re running. It’s not a “one size fits all” scenario.

@Bad Luck Garage Ok so I'd I'm trying to power a 2 electric fans and 1 efi fuel pump then I should calculate full load of them and base wire size of that? Or base off max amp of the relay box I purchased
