Titanium isn't as good at holding an edge as steel but it can do it. Main problem is that it's brittle so if you make it too thin (like a cutting edge) it'll chip and crack very easily.

Well I wanted to get the titanium Edge. Then I went on the website and saw it’s $399.99🤯! I new titanium yo-yos were expensive but that never actually hit me until I looked at one. I guess titanium is an expensive metal or hard to work with!

When we went home again i found one half with the string and the axel Wich was destroyed. We searched and even asked people if they had seen it but no, They hadn't. There is one problem that I find with titanium yo-yos, I feel like we don’t use the most valuable part of this material. Titanium has different weight and balance than aluminum so you can’t slap a design for an aluminum yo-yo and expect it to play equal or better. we need titanium yo-yos that are shaped and designed to be made out of titanium.

Hey there Aidan. You have the same name as my brother. I've read your comment, and also the email you sent. Thank you for your fascination with Titanium yoyo design. In fact, titanium Edge is designed far differently than a standard 6061 aluminum yoyo. The walls are made much thinner, due to the fact that titanium is more durable and requires less material for the same strength threshold. On top of that, as the metal is slightly denser, the rims can have less volume, increasing the concentration of mass in the outer rim-weight. This greatly increases spin time. Now, if you would like to suggest some other things we could do to improve our titanium designs, please let me know!
