Length of chain ⇒ 30 m measured Length = 2.4 Km बिछाई गई चैन की संख्या = 2400/30 = 80 चैन2 decimeter. लंबी थी error = negative Correction = positive 2 decimeter लंबी थी इसलिए 80×20 = 1600 cm अतः मापी गई दूरी वास्तविक दूरी से 1600 cm कम है।a

Given: L=30m,l=? l'=2.4km=2400m, L'=(30+.2)=30.2m, We know that , L×l=L'×l' Put all above value... l=(30.2×2400)/30=2416m = actual distance we measured 2400m by wrong tape So , correction= MV- TV =2400-2416=(-16)m here -ve shows less measured .... so answer becomes D optn I.e 16m less or 1600cm less

As we know , we have to measure distance 2.4km (2400m) with 30m chain and it is given that chain is 2decimeter long (0.2m) it means actually chain was of 30.2m so it is clear the distance measure with 30.2 meter chain is more then the actual. which is find by ..... TV= MV*(incorrect length/ correct length ) , MV = 2400*(30.2/30)= 2416 meter which shows measure distance is 16m (1600cm) less then the actual (ans option D)
